Hi guys, not sure if this the right thread to ask. I have created 2 volumes in synology, but why the volumes capacity cannot utilize the full disk size? I have allocated this much hard disk space from the virtual machine, 5GB and 8GB. But the volume capacity I got from this is less, 490MB and 3.44GB. Thank you.

QUOTE(vivre @ Sep 25 2014, 12:09 AM) You can refer HERE to see the impact of RAID setup of various hard disk combination. Thanks vivre. But I created a volume per disk (basic setup). QUOTE(blacktubi @ Sep 25 2014, 12:14 AM) HDD = 1.82TB Volume created = 1.79TB Hmm.. that's about 30GB lost, right? Do you have any idea where that 30GB might be?
