QUOTE(((Xa))0102 @ Aug 21 2013, 09:21 PM) Not everyone drive MT. Plus, he should know when his brakes is hot, it fades! Still need to wait for smoke? Plus, one should not feather the brakes and hold it while cornering. Slow down before cornering, and go neutral or accelerate a little while cornering to keep the momentum. For God's sake! DON'T PUT YOUR CAR INTO NEUTRAL! You need the gears to safely exit a corner! Use engine braking when going down Genting! The downhill is 11% gradient and the hairpin is an unforgiving one.

QUOTE(ctrl_alt_del @ Aug 21 2013, 09:34 PM) Need to build more bumps... force them slowing down. Build more speed bumps, and a bunch of people who like to speed complained Genting build even more speed bumps causing brake fade and loses it's efficiency.

QUOTE(Boldnut @ Aug 21 2013, 09:35 PM) 50-60yrs ago uncle lim have only so much technology to cut trough mountains. ever since that we have been using the same road, cant blame them lol compared to last time, it is consider much better now, road have been widen by a lot, but still with retard driver, u can only do so much.Agreed with this. At least Genting roads are so much wider now and you have more safety buffer should anything goes wrong. I think not just downhill that crashes, sometimes uphill also can crash. If you follow the advisory speed limit, practice proper downhill techniques, have your car checked and ensure it is in tip-top condition, there shouldn't be any issue. I believe those trunk roads with single lanes are worse. This post has been edited by geekster129: Aug 21 2013, 09:41 PM

QUOTE(twins9 @ Aug 23 2013, 06:16 PM) The survivors reported the driver was driving angry....fire covered eyes and he purposely swerved the bus dangerously at the curve into the ravine instead of the emergency ramp. sounds like a suicide case, lose money at casino?
