Actually, we're on the same page. Am also looking for 50" or less and good PQ like the ST60 but really disappointed. When go to other country especially Europe got. Anyway already post on Pana FB, they replied

"Panasonic Malaysia Hi, thank you for expressing your interest. We will forward your suggestion to our management team for future consideration. Kindly email our customer care at ccc@my.panasonic.com regarding the compatibility as they can provide your with more detailed information."

But Singapore got the 50" ST60, so maybe can buy there since the tuner is thesa me i guess, that is if you use the tuner, but if use Astro sure can works.

Singapore's Courts even better $2399 and more interesting is the model number is THP50ST60K where the 'K' at the end of the model name is usually for M'sia. 

What size are you looking at?

There are only a few components in a tv. They will replace the faulty modular components in the tv. If changing all the modular components also cannot solve the fault, then only they look at changing the unit.

You now has a 50" tv and you want to change it to a 50" tv?

If you die die need a 50: plasma, I would say Sammy F8500 suit u. It come with 51" and 64"

Oh, Just get a quote from a Forum seller, P65ST60K is RM6500 only.
Initially I wanna get a 60", guess now with RM1 can get 5" more...

What change do you expect from Panasonic?
No matter what, they won't give you a 60" tv when yours is a 50".
Worst case is they change everything except the back cover that has the serial number.
Hope they will attend to your problem as soon as possible.

I also thought they were no longer available.
Until hours ago, I saw two units in box, looks new.
Rang my friends, was back there in an hour with a friend to purchase.
Opened up, panel looks totally new, untouched and clean.
Powered up, looked at service menu (took me a few mins to google the info), surprised it was brand new unused!

Booked the other unit for my other friend to purchase it tomorrow morning.

Sorry I can't reveal location until my 2nd friend buys it.
There is a third unit out of box but not powered up. Chances it might be without any hours on it.

So it was a surprise find for me!

St50? Try to avoid le... 50 series panel use anti reflex coating....  once u remove(accidentally mop it) partially, gonna be big problem...
