You connect your desktop to the tv via the HDMI port or the VGA port?

Thanks bro,
I just came back from the SenQ Mines, they said it takes 14 days to process refund. They will come to collect the TV later. hmmm
Hopefully they will honour it.  sad.gif

Trying to call Harvey Norman Mid Valley but nobody pickup..
*
Why don't you ask SenQ to send you another new 60ST60K?

The shops nowadays hope to sell their demo set as new to those who are not familiar with the usage checking menu. I have read many of us found out they were given the demo set and asked for replacement which they complied. They will continue to send out the demo set until the buyer is not aware snd accepted it.

Anybody have a suggestion on LED TV?
I saw 55" ET LED series but pricey. Long term should be affordable since the electric usage is only around 1/3 of plasma. Next year electric tariff increase right lor  sad.gif

My estimated Plasma electric usage for 8 hours daily :- 400W x 8hours x 30days = 96000W = 96kWh | 96kWh x RM0.45 = RM43.20/month (current rate)

For LED 1/3 = RM14.40/month ..

is this correct? mind to comment

For plasma tv, when it is showing the whole screen white then only consume 400W. If it is showing night scene, the consumption might drop to 5W or 10W.
So plasma depends on the scene.

Under bright showroom lightings, LED tvs are superior.
If you watch in normal room lightings, you will see the difference.

I'm thinking of letting go my 65st50k but I have no idea on what would be the fair price. It's still under warranty and the usage hours is 1000+. Can anyone suggest?
*
Why do you want to sell your 65ST50K?

So far, anyone having problem buying from Ikano - Harvey Norman? Do they deliver 'demo' unit, instead of 'new'. Interested to buy Plasma from them. Cheers.
*
Why don't you tell them you don't want demo unit and tell them you know how to check the usage time in the service menu.

Yesterday midnite, Took apart my st50 to fix the loud buzzing noise. I thought it was electronic circuit board vibrate like internet says, but its not!

install back rear cover, enjoice noise-less tv biggrin.gif luckily nothing explode or myself kena electric shock
*
You removed the steel frame and did not put it back?
That means the steel frame does not serve any purpose inside the tv. Why did they put it there in the first place?

Hehe, I thought they really install a steel frame without any purpose.
QC very bad. They never bother to check the buzzing sound when they test the tv after repair.

Hi all, recently I just got myself a new penny 3d led tv. But is quite a old model(thl47dt50s) but wanna check with you guys how you all watch those downloaded 3d movies? I tried .mkv, it doesn't show up in the media player list. Then I tried to convert to .avi. But same thing happen..

Another thing is how you all stream live football on the tv?  Thanks in advance.
*
Did you check the user manual on what type of files the tv can play?
Some old tv can only play jpg files.

Hopefully Panasonic turn around and decide to continue with Plasma tv.
Giving it away to Samsung and LG is a waste.

I doubt plasma will be around much longer. I don't see Samsung nor LG going past this year. Samsung has not announced any new sets at CES and LG has not made any significant improvements to their plasma sets in the past 2 years.

So anyone who likes plasma shd get a set and ride the tide till the next tech comes along.

Oh, this is really sad. Like the death of VHS, slowly see them disappear from the market.

Guys, i'm having problem with my tv.. Seems it doesnt detect external hardisk. It can detect usb pen drive though....
*
What type of hard disk you try to hook up to your tv?
The tv usb port might not have enough power to drive the 2.5" external hard disk.
Have you tried 3.5" external hard disk? Those that have their own power.
