Go to your local authority to check is the safest way. Cause different area have their own regulation and they always alter the regulation from time to time. You can get a clear guide line from the local authority office.

QUOTE(stabella @ Sep 2 2013, 01:27 AM) I am started my renovation before I am asking in this post, no point for me to go dbkl to check anymore just pray the dbkl wont spot on my house, and I am doing best to makes my neighbors happy now They will not likely to come and disturb you. But when you wanna sell your unit it might be a problem if without proper approval.

QUOTE(stabella @ Sep 3 2013, 10:36 PM) My renovation does not including any extension, so selling the property does not need any renovation approval for valuer. I am mortgage banker The problem is, some of the sub sale buyer will be concerned with the approval thing. But if you don't have extension, then i think most likely you will not have problem.
