Nice ma, got someone share toys with you, I just enjoy the keyboard myself only, my wife won't interested the keyboard or keycaps 1....  tongue.gif

Haiz, don't say liao. T_T

QUOTE(Human10 @ Aug 23 2013, 09:25 PM)
Try the one Xaphier use? Though it sounds expensive to me, a thing cost 499RMB end up 122USD shipped, is it normal? hmm.gif
*
Hmm, well 499 rmb, is about.. RM250 right? / 3 = 84$ AUD / 75$ usd, if total cost 122 USD shipped (if to Malaysia). the shipping itself is 50$, not to mention Australia shipping is always farking expensive. basically like paying for 2 keyboard. icon_question.gif might as well ask someone to proxy for me from malaysia to here. last time i sent a Raptor K1 to Perth, and it costs about 30$ aud only. hmm. abang china, you can help? hahahaha

QUOTE(lowyatguy @ Aug 23 2013, 09:25 PM)
Now MY sounds way better than Aus lol
*
definitely, not always aus win one, a lot of stuff still cheaper in malaysia

QUOTE(lowyatguy @ Aug 23 2013, 09:30 PM)
Got also asked for 1 unit only la...wont keep one asking for new board one haha
*
haiz.. the 1 unit she ask for.. is my Phantom. i told her i took a long time to locate the stuff for it, then she say "yea, thats why its mine." icon_question.gif

modding kings n queens...i know cherry switch have holes to put LED...but wat about the PCB? does every mx keyboard's pcb have holes for LED?
if yes, then after soldering it, how do u switch it on or is it always on?
*
it depends on the pcb if it has circuit for it, but you can always wire la if you want, but then inside your keyboard would look like old school pc, cable management first world problem.

you can always code your keyboard. ; )

i was lucky with my Phantom, kai and the phantom coder actually wrote codes for me.

that wiring technique...did u mean by running led wires in between switches' gaps?
or do u mean running wires to the led that is manually installed on the switches led slot?
i prefer if can run those led from the switches's led slot itself sad.gif

you'd need to do wiring to get them working anyway if theres no circuit. at least that's what i know.

But you should note something though, usually there's only LED on caps lock and scroll lock, if you want to code it, you need your own controller, controller aside, that's about 20-30$ extra (and someone to make it for you, unless you want qfr/filco then someone has already made a custom controller), and wiring, leds to make it possible - another extra work which could cost some money, then someone else to do it for you, extra money again.

In the end, might as well you go buy those korean customs, costs about same price, better quality.
