Why Vortex keycaps font are slanted. Is it their trademark? So ugly.

QUOTE(lowyatguy @ Aug 18 2013, 08:05 PM) It is more durable than pad printing but eventually they will fade away, about how long does it takes to fade, depends on ur usage and how u use it (with nail rubbing or just finger). BTW, Poker II have the same legend printing or not with KBT Oni?Faded better, can become blank thick PBT lol |

QUOTE(kuance @ Aug 20 2013, 11:15 AM) bro.... i was having real hard time now... i am thinking of blue and red... The best result obtained by testing all the swtiches. My favorite is brown. Tested blue and they felt good when typing. The problem is I don't like the click click when multi tap. Thinking of getting red in the future. I think red should be fun like typing on soft dada. i heard that red from u guys... in this forum... most of u guys using what?? i know most own more than one type of switch... but what is the fav...i know also it is preferrence... any most FAV one? i hope there is a voting poll so i can see result.. haha |

QUOTE(justnits @ Aug 20 2013, 11:31 AM) there's no such thing as favourite switch. At first I thought I can stand the multi tapping on blue switch but seems that I'm wrong and brown always the best for me. those of us who have different switch cuz of this few reasons:- different switch for different usage (typing, gaming...etc) curious to try out different switch collection (or poisoned) u have to try out with ur own fingers on different switches before u are able to decide... last time i thought i would want a brown because that's the middle ground between typist and gamer. but manatau...when i first land my fingers on the blue switch...i decided to get blue instead. so theorycraft is not very accurate... |

But from what I read, POM have smoother surface than PBT generally. I like ABS surface. And I like PBT surface too. The problem is PBT easily get dirty if my hand sweating or wet. But PBT have more "rigidity". They felt durable. Now looking forward to try POM but only available in gray color from Keycool.
Last time when I newly joined this thread, I'd been warned that I will addicted to try all the switch and different material of keycaps. I hate to admit that he's right. Now I'm hooked. Haha... |

QUOTE(kyrmian @ Aug 20 2013, 07:42 PM) Cannot say dull or not, the aim of thick keycaps is to mimic classic keycaps, like car hobby, got jaguar and Honda civic type r. Hobbyist still love old school right? Got impact one ma. I also prefer pbt over abs, they just feels different. But wait till you try thick keycaps, change mind liao. Already explained but hey, they kinda look down at our interest. And they are most proud spend money on something else and I know they will never interested in mech kb. Haha...I got a lot double shot abs actually, and none pbt at the moment. Still trying to find the set I want. Cannot say like that, later friend also cannot jadi Just tell them, why people love to fish? Kill creature wor, why people put spoiler on car? Look like tamiya wor. Why some people like Asian woman, some like Caucasian? Different people different view ma. The thing with hobby is very freaky one, they just never kena impact yet. |

QUOTE(soR @ Aug 20 2013, 11:50 PM) Checked... It's PBT. But too bad can't check the font etc. IMO, PBT should be better than stock ABS. Just not sure the legend and font. BTW, I wonder if they get from Taobao too. This post has been edited by diaBoliQu3: Aug 20 2013, 11:54 PM |
