the fans reaction are normal.
they have been given promise that new signings will come, but until today we have not sign nobody.
imagine the frustration of the fans, having to pay 1 of the highest ticket price.. watching the team fighting for 4th place every season. yawn.gif

Aw is a manager without vision, if bought 3-4 new players, then this injury crisis wouldnt be that bad

the signs are there already all over the place bro... AW oblivious to the whole suad strengthening team....then give press statement can win the lague with current squad...paper thin squad...no urgency to sign additional players...a few main player got injured...bbut i salute the fans....even with all the stagnant non progressing thing happens in this club many of them still put up high faith n wishful thinking hoping miracles can happen.... stupidity is doing same ting over and over again what you been doing all this time without any success and still hoping for miracles to happen(i meant this for arsene this past 7 years)

if arsene and gazidis are in this just to make money....they should just quit football n venture into real estate instead...its ruining a rich history club.....

As a die hard arsenal fan, it hurts to see my team lose. Then again, its a wake up call.

I dont understand why we are getting rid of the deadwood and shipped out some on loan leaving the squad so damn thin. Where are the reinforcements or so called signings from the available funds. I believe signing should be made before the pre-season begins so that the new players can gel in with the existing players and structure.

Our players look so damn jaded yesterday. Credit to aston villa for closing the game down. That's sheer commitment, hunger and desire for you. Funny how arsenal will only play a defensive pressing game when it comes to big matches and as for minnows, they tend to take things slow.

I thought Flamini was training with Arsenal to build up his fitness. Even having him on the team would also be great.

My hunch is that alot of pending "deals or transfers" are hinged on Arsenal's UCL results against Fenerbache.

The team have been on the decline for a while now. Selling your best players every year and replacing them with average ones can only get you so far. We are already out of the title race I believe and probably looking at 4th at best now. I know it was one game, but it was home, to Villa.

The squad is thin and the manager seems clueless as to how to proceed.

This should have been dealt with years ago. why keep repeat the same mistake? sigh

It easier to say when you didn't know the real story.

Btw thanks for your interest in our beloved team. Appreciated.

I think its just bad timing for the entire squad at this moment. Unexpected injuries starting to pile up.

Wise words I found on Twitter.

QUOTE
Fans argue because there are fans who see the big picture and fans who don't. But let's just agree that both sides think the other is wrong.

So no matter which side are you, let's get behind our team. Things will be different after 2nd September. Keep the faith.

Once a Gooner, always a Gooner.

mmmm....dunno where to start regarding last night's loss...already excited for the new season even if no new star players but seeing last night's match brought back the reality of the Arsenal squad...i just would like to say to Wenger "you reap what you sow"....i'm truly off the Arsene Wenger bandwagon and really hope this is his last season with Arsenal...hope the board do not offer him a new contract and just offer him a director of football post...even though Arsenal win the treble at the end of next season like Bayern Munich then i hope he does a "Jupp Heynckes" and retire....you can quote me on this...just hire a new manager and start a new cycle....
