Let's compare them side by side. I didn't say it's more solid because of the weight (as said by H2D. He's been lurking in the shadows stabbing at everyone

). Look at the design. The Speedgear is actually a choosen frame from mass producing China open market and then shodded with the most profitable components and sold it as a specialized brand here. Just like Pedalsport who imports a frame they choose and then named it Geometric but it is never their own design nor their actual product. The frames are just randomly choosen just to make cost to stay low. Raleigh Ugo, on the other hand is a brand they created and have been promoting. They are an actual bike company!
The components itself says, and the disc brake ( branded Zoom and Xinjiang brake levers are nothing to shout about ). At least Raleigh, although not a premium brand nowadays, it's proven as demonstrated by
Adrian.

The prove is in the testing though. I feel the Raleigh's frame is worth the extra RM100 paid.
PS/ Also I noticed the Raleigh has a double walled rim as opposed to the single layered one in Speedgear.
Assuming u r talking behind my back ah?
Dun say lah like I am abusing my bike. I cayang my bike beli much u know..
Jes got it to service after 1000km ride last month leh.
All r good except bearing at crank about to kong.
Apart from that, everything still as good as new.

Nowadays, dah slow a bit going offroad. Raining season. Too muddy and slippery for BA.
