My LG comes with stock weinmann too. It's written 20x1.50/1.75, I am assuming 1.75 is the maximum tyre width allowed? What's the risk if I fit 2.00 onto my weinmann?
*
ur rim's width is more or less same as the kinetix comp i think..
won't have any problem for 2.0 big apple tyre...

fitting a wide tyre on narrow rim will make the tire higher...

user posted image

use this chart as a guide if u wana find out more...
the big apple is 50mm wide,
recommended rim width 17c - 27 c...

I am assuming that by fitting either BA2.0 or DTH1.95 will make the space allowance at the upper fork even tighter. Fingers cross that LG can accommodate wider tyres.

correct,, biggrin.gif

It's not much of a design flaw and they are simple faults but one must also understand the customer's feelings.

*
great share! rclxms.gif
if with pics will help more ppl to understand... biggrin.gif

looks like it is just not being properly assembled and fine tuned..
so the bike shop should and 'must' be able to/try to solve this issue....
oredi paid so much for the bike...

mana bike shop ni??

Perhaps, yes but with chain drop killing experience and fantastic so call break-in soundĀ  hmm.gif

bro other P9 owners oso have this problem....

frm tern forum..

http://www.ternbicycles.com/forum/link-p9-...alls-constantly

Johon reply - May 2012

"We’ve tested many Link P9’s and there isn’t a chain drop issue but obviously some of our customers do have an issue so we’re studying it and will have some recommendations soon. But number one is to have your dealer check and ensure that the chain keeper is adjusted properly."

comment frm owner..

"I've sent in my Link P9 to the dealer for adjustment.

The mechanic dismantled the outer CNC chain guard that is screwed to the chainring and bent it by hitting with a mallet and by hand to close the gap between the chain and the CNC chainguard.

Problem solved. After that, the chain never got derailed anymore.

One more thing, I cleaned the cassette and chain with a bike cleaner and lubricated the chain. After that, the ride became so much smoother. "

Does anyone have any comments on Montague bikes? They look interesting with the full sized frames. Do you think they're worth it compared to a similarly priced "regular" non-folding bike?
*
u can try play around with a sub 1k HUMMER... biggrin.gif
won't dent ur pocket...
if it survived.... start save for a montague.. or just stick with the HUMMER... biggrin.gif

sorry.. i type as how i talk.. lol

Question : How long does it take to ride 1 km distance with 20'' tyre size?

I jus took 20km/hr  (from somewhere) and calculated it is 3min for each km.. lol..
*
time to cover X distance depends on ur average X speed...
and it really has nothing to do with the wheel size.. biggrin.gif

now u need to ask more questions.. biggrin.gif
