Crazymouse, still remember Caltex? He is a beautiful boy now, minus ticks.
But these few days he has been pretty weak, doesn't even jump up and down when it comes to walks. Eats very little, but he seems to be fine except that he looks very down. His nose isn't as we at before, could it be that he's having a cold or something?

Please help. When dogs usually behave like this, what kind of common illness might have befall on them? T_T

Yah, I remember Caltex... his brother Esso is doing very well also. With your care, he sure is a cantik boy.

Eats little... hmmm.... what food do you feed him? Also, check the gums and tongue colour.... if it is pale, he could be having a heart problem. Dogs can also have fevers and normally you can tell when the body really heats up.

Erm.... if you still worry, best is bring to vet.

Yeah I already cancelled my plans for tonight and shall bring him to the vet asap. His temp is normal though, dunno what is the prob. Any other dogs belonging to you or others have the same symptoms? I feed him doggy biscuits and rice mixed with dog food and some leftover gravy. >_<

That's his original name, he's adopted. ^^

HAhah... you see, the dogs were under rescue and rehome... we ran out of names so we named them Esso and Caltex loh....

Last time got BoyBoy and GirlGirl
Then got puppy A to puppy J hahahah.... then got OneOne and TwoTwo... just too many to name.

Yeah haha thanks to you guys I got Caltex. =_= Suckered into keeping him, stalling for time. Until one day got people actually interested to adopt him, too late already he's mine.

well, I had similar problem with my dog,.... found out he got heart problem. Now his medicine cost Rm200 a month... sigh... but as long he still alive is good.

hope he will be fine...

ya know, now hor, Piper vomit after she take her morning meal. but when at nite, she didnt vomit her dinner. how leh.

How is ur caltex now? already bring to VET...? do it fast. update us

She got jump about after eating or not? So weird.... but chelsea will vomit if she jumps about and bark a lot after eating.

Yay! He seems aalright!!
Last night braved through jams in Cheras, just to get back see him whining in hunger. So I indulged him, and err, guiltily got him hugeeee chicken drumstick and mixed it in rice for him. He wolfed it up.
This morning he was his usual self, not so lethargic anymore, tail a-wagging.
Nose and gum and everything is fine, just slightly thin.

Phew so there. Will monitor him closely and take him to vet for checkup soon.

Stomach upset maybe... someone told me if dog suffering upset stomach, should eat plain steamed chicken meat as it is easy to digest....

possible caused by he is too active or not...at nite after dinner she wont vomit because she felt sleepy so not so hyper compare to day time ?

Hope he will get well soon. Please do monitor him tight because anything will happen. Give him more care and love might be help him recover fast.
