Security Breach:

Yesterday, two Africans waiting for R3 owner to come and open the door for them. So I used to LG floor whereby got the guard stationed there. They followed me.

I went in and they asked the guard to open the door, claimed they knew the owner at certain unit no. The guard opened the door for them and they joined me in the lift.

Apparently there had been some lapses on security on how to prevent unauthorized entries.

Anyone who wish to share his/her view just need to clearly indicate in this or other social media forum where I hv placed the news- that he/she disagree/object that the sculpture be discarded. I will then compile n bring it up in next official Jmc meeting. Will then see what happens next. Your views may help to SAVE  THE SW BIG ROCK SCULPTURE.

Thanks for  your comments so that those on the opposite side of the fence may have a little better understanding of opposing views. Your support (a first in social media so far) for discarding the sculpture will be recorded.

Wish to share a posting obtained from another forum for our info. Apparently SP did spend some big money on the sculptures.

Very bad decision. I understand all sculptures @ setiawalk r commissioned fr a wellknown sculpture firm in bangsar and their works r reputable regionally. Also they dont come cheap. While art is subjective, i am personally against removing the rock as it enhances the natural tereain that is part of the setiawlk water feature.

Unquote.

Yes we need to vote. But not at the time of the night where only 8 members are around and the four personal friends (which includes the Chairman with an additional casting vote) is assured of victory - whatever the opinion of the rest. So on hind sight, beginning to see why they make no effort to even present their individual views as to why they voted to discard the sculpture. Because they are assured of a win which ever way the rest voted. It is all over within about 10 minutes.

So some of those might be here as well.

(100% from the view of SW retailer's perspective)
(100% from the view of tenant's perspective)

Now, PokemonGo brought Setiwalk like hell;
1. Every way is rubbish, after those they left,,especially Sat and Sun morning.
2. Crowded (a real congested!) at a normal peaceful environment.
3. Car parked at narrow, yellow lined, car-park entrance. Just wanted to save parking fee, played PokemonGo in car.
4. A mess in the Garden area now. Easily found empty bottles, empty snack bags, cigarette butts...etc.
5. The 'lake', can't avoid the hit, increasing rubbish floating!!

No action from Management. Eye closed? Ear closed?

for Setiawalk management and retail biz people, it is most welcome and generate the long awaited revenue for them. Biz easily improve 50% day to day basis.

Under such current economic scenario, it is better to have this good problem instead of empty mall.

Completed properties will garner less posts than ongoing ones. Furthermore SW has VP for 5 yrs. If got ppl discuss everyday then it will be bad news for u.

The recent of Sub MC at I Mont kiara managed under Burgess Rawson could pave the way to help SW residents to have another sub MC to managed the properties instead ground the retail portion in the whole deal.

First sub-MC in Malaysia to be formed
BY NATALIE KHOO FEB 19
PETALING JAYA (Feb 17): The first subsidiary management corporation or sub-MC in Malaysia is set to be formed at the 1 Mont’ Kiara mixed-use stratified development.
