this is the 4th weeks of working in my company... i wonder what should i do?... should i stay or should i resign...

here it goes the story... i was been told in the interview that i'll be given a training on company system in order to understand the overall company system... but i was been fooled as they didn't even give me any training and expect me to know everything... ...

i already tried my best to do whatever i had been asked to do but sometimes really can't figure it out... somemore everyone keep rushing me... even though when i'm very busy, some of them still add burden to me by asking me to do this and that... i had been scolded by my boss few times because of this... ...

the funniest thing is, i'm the only one who are in charge of IT department... nobody else... shouldn't the company hire another It staff?...

mmm... no no... definitely no... this is not the way they train staff... my senior (now based in client side) told me this is the way the company torture people...

when i was here for the very first week, i'm kinda like this job... i really felt great that time... but as time goes by, i really realised what my senior said is true...

in the middle of nowhere... ...

nope... not a chinaman company but western man company... apparently my friend is working here... he warned me the boss like to torture staff and asked me to think carefully before accepting the offer... ...

ya, you are right... nobody i can ask for help but to learn it by myself... sometimes i'm really ... i even told them that i'm new herer and i need time to figure it out but still they push me again and again... ...

3) Did they promised you any training during the interview?

- Ya, said i'll be undergoing training under my senior...

4) You didn't really said that you were fantastic in IT and gave him the impression that you could handle everything during the interview did you?

- No, i did not... Already stated in my resume that i'm a fresh grad...

it is easier said than done...

they will only backstab you but not consider your situation... i already kena backstab... ...

the problem is even the boss doesn't believe me... i told him this is what the senior asked me to do to overcome the problem but he insisted in calling my senior to ask about it...

yes both of you are right about the having the eager to learn new things... this is what i expected... but how do i learn if i can't do any practical on it?... by reading the theory is not enough... 100% theory without practical = 0 ...

what i deal here is the overall company system... i couldn't do an experiment on the server which running a big business... what if the server crash because of me?... i couldn't bear the losses...

really in the middle of nowhere... now still exploring how to solve the problem for one of the director here... gosh... what can i do?... ...

hahaha... really going to plant vegetables ar?... ...

you still got supervisor to refer to... but mine i can't really fully rely on my senior as he is kinda busy with work loads... nothing i can do but to explore it by myself... ...

i'm the only IT staff in the company... ... i'm already working real hard for it... everything is so organise but lack of knowledge... ...

i would be really happy if this stingy boss wanna recruit people... but the fact is they only need one systems administrator... and that is me... ... wonder why they don't recruit another one... one is not enough...

how good is my senior?... not sure but as i know, he move on to SAP BASIS from systems administrator where i would have the chance as well...

my senior is based on client side... won't be back to office at the meantime... ...



mmm... i deposited my resume at msc.com ystdy and today afternoon i received a call from Axis Systems for an interview... so, does anyone know about this company?... any opinion should i go for the interview?...

what do you mean by paper MCSE?... ...

i never zip my mouth... but no one for me to ask... senior based in client side... ...

heard from my senior yesterday that boss complained about me... ... boss kept bugging my senior and ask why i don't know anything... phoned him about 3 to 4 times although my senior was sick... ...

what should i do then?... ...

ha, do you really think i never search for info through internet rather than posting in this forum?... ... i spent few days in exploring information through internet... i even posted my question in microsoft forum looking for an answer...

before seek for help i will try to look for an answer by myself... not just venting or whinning here...

my salary wont be revised till the end of the first year i work here... joined in May 2006... salary will be revised on April 2007... ...

by the way, no training provided... ...

ya, kinda frustrated...

i know one leg kicking also consider good as i can learn a lot of things... the problem is i don even have time to learn... everyone keep on pushing me... one IT staff isn't enough... ...

from what i know so far, boss is looking for experience staff... why employ me then?... ...

sigh... what to do?...

yesterday received a call from HP and NEC for an interview... will try it out... ...

if you really plant corn, do inform me... i will be your first customer... ...

fire my boss?... soon... ...
