I had been looking for a job in aviation industry for months, long before i finish my thesis. i sent more than 10 times of my resume to MAS and AirAsia already, still never heard of them till now. now i'm starting to losing my faith, and start looking for other jobs in non-aviation field. i just dun understnad, isn't a MSc in Aviation Management shohuld be good for the airlines? especially in Malaysia, where we don't have any of the course offered yet (as far as i know) in the local university, i dun even have a chance to get an interview from the airlines. i totally agree with u guys when u said that the prospect of the aviation industry in malaysia is good (regardless of MAS' poor financial performance), but y dun they care abobut someone with an academic background in avaition like me? i published like 6 papers in diff conferences, i'm not bragging here, but that should be something rite?
i know academic result is not everything, but every fresh grad had been through this, and y can others can succesfully get a job in this field, while i dun even have a chance for an interview?
if i was interviewed and rejected by them, then i wont say a word, its shows that i'm not up to their standard. but my fren who got below a 3.0 (actually i dun even sure if she was 2.0 above... ), she got an interview on tuesady, and start her work on thursday in a local airline T_T however, she told me she got some frens inside la.... still....
just wanna let go some of the flame ^^ feeling much better now
thanks for reading ^^
