EA asking you to buy MOH: War Fighter, it's a direct sequel. Go avenge your bro.
Bleh, no thanks. Unless another Humble Bundle.
The game a little buggy and I hate it's so 1 way to everything.

For example one part I had to kill the enemy with the knife although I picked up an AK. The game just stuck itself and cannot progress without reloading the mission and killing the guy with a knife because there was a knife kill cut scene involved... wtf.
Another was in a supposed hopeless battle everyone had no more ammo, but somehow I can request 1000 rounds from my fellow team-mate... wtf? if that battle ended where everyone died it made more freaking sense. At least it felt like some kind of hopeless battle that you can never win.
I hate the in-game cut-scenes where it slows everything down and tell you crawl underneath a rock... you can't jump over, you cannot take a left or right. No you need to crawl underneath here now for some unknown reason that the dev think it's fun to go at a snail's pace while running from 1 action to another action. And it wasn't even a stealth sequence or anything, I'm just suppose to follow Dusty and am forced to go prone and crawl under a trunk of a tree. It's stupid.
Oh yeah, if you failed a mission, you cannot skip the ingame cut-scenes to go right to the action partd, YOU HAVE TO go thru the entire sequence again. Maybe I was tired but was trying to figure out why I keep failing the Apache mission. I was blowing the shit out of that camp... oh wait, sorry. I HAVE TO USE THE HELL-FIRE OR IT doesn't count! Wtf?

the way the game design, i rather watch a movie. you do sth out of the script, ur eyes bleed. and has anyone wonder why each time we got shot at, our eyes bleed?

well gameplay wise, scripted scene is a how they wanted it and forces us to follow but the continuation of the storyline is kinda ok for me.its just another brainless shooter game, not the best but at least its cheap

This is the best example of what shooter has become.
but then, i don't think SR4 is considered "shooter" since generally, "shooter" refers to FPS games. unless SR4 has the option to play in FPS?
If you gonna divide everything down to its more fundamental features, then, its gonna be more confusing. Spec Ops The Line is also similar to most MMS with its ultra scripted gameplay but the game plays in 3rd person, so what does that mean then? So, its no longer a shooter?
Saints Row 4 still predominantly a shooter, because you still shoot people most of the time. Or abduct them. Or make them dance. Or inflate them. Or buttsecks them.

Too bad I can't play SR4. SR3 gives me the woozies. Can't play more than 15mins of that game.

Spec Ops the line is a very linear 3rd person cover shooter.
Though I think he meant that SR4 primarily isn't fixed into just shooting things, as you can melee and drive all kind of vehicles and do other things possible rather than just pointing and shooting.
A shooter is a game where you can't do anything else but shoot. The primary objective of the game is to shoot thru the game.
