Never try the beta, but what i read from forum, Marauder able to tank some and at the same time does some damage as well. havent try any tanker char before, will see how it go ~

i dont like pure tank, feel like just being a stone standing there and let mob to rape you.. that;s why i go for marauder, at least able to do some damage

Both are tankers.........paladin is better at single target tanking but if got adds war can pickup faster. Paladin has more defensive moves but much lower hp pool than war. If you got read the guides, war tanks is easier compared to paladin tanks to play.

See what you pick, if glad did not change class, can take dps buff/skill from other class to use in solo (10 skill ) , but mostly in raid sure we need specific role, that when come the job term is.
but in Raid i think you can say Paladin is for main tank, Warrior build for off tank, to tank add ect.

No Worries guys, after a month or two of playing the game. I think there will be a lot of tank already cause one character can play all job/class. people usually go for DPS class due to easy leveling at first.

I already created a LS for LYN people.

First it is not my FC
second not everyone in LYN must join LYN FC, in fact Tamamama haven't even come out with a name for LYN FC.
third Tamamama is just trying to gather everyone from MY to play in a same FC
forth MY friend wanan do the same too in fact I think Tamamama didn't get in open beta fast enough to gather all the MY players, so I created one to gather LYn people.
Fifth I think you are overreacted, there is no law say people cant post here, is not like I badmouth saying this LYN not good or so.
Sixth if you wanna argue technically no one even say whoever should lead the LYN FC and who got the right to claim he should be the leader. I m sure Tamamama was just creating LYN because seems like nobody is doing it yet. So I find no wrong posting here saying my friend is going create another one FC even if people here don't want to join we still can have the same Linkshell.
The main objective is to keep everyone in touch.
If everyone just keep posting their own FC recruit then everyone would be scatter around.

Just play which ever class you feel like playing...the only benefits of playing tank and healer at first is that you can get almost instant dungeon pop with the duty finder

Yes but the problem is I m not creating the FC. Most of the Malaysian on tonberry is here so of course I posted here telling all the MY people. I don't think there is anything wrong. I didn't even spam message asking people to join. Why so narrow minded.

First like you said, not everyone in LYN must join the LYN FC, as you can see it everyone has their own individual FC so this also considered to be an individual FC recruitment whether it has a name or not, whether it's an official LYN FC or not it's doesn't matter because it is still considered to be a recruitment thread for Tamamama's FC.
Second if your friend created an FC on his own, that's his business and he can go performing the recruitment on his own expense and not others.
Third, technically there's already a few MY/mixed FC's out there so I don't think there will be a so called "official" LYN FC anyway.
Fouth: Ppl are free to make their choices where they want to go and which FC they want to join so to gather every Malaysian to be in a single FC is truly a naive thought. There is no way of preventing ppl from scattering to other FC's since they can choose which FC they want to join.
Fifth like I've said before just like Tamamama who created a thread to recruit ppl for his FC, I don't see why your friend or you can't do the same and instead have to jump into other's recruitment thread. You don't need a law for this, you just need a brain.
Sixth, like I've said before Tamamama did not claim that this is going to be an official LYN FC, it's for a FC he is going to create in the Tonberry server.

My main point is there won't be anything official because this is not TM or Tenaga where everything is monopolized and ppl have no choice. Ppl can go to any FC they want regardless. The least anyone can do is be courteous and respectful when performing individual recruitment.

First, since I think you are new on ffxiv forum so I think you didn't even know this thread was link from ffxiv v8 forum. So naturally , like you said use brain to think most of the people will think this is the one FC for all MY people to join.
Second I just post 1 here saying my friend also creating another FC . NO rules say cant, use brain think? if everyone think like you then we wont be talking about it now here so obviously you r wrong.
