Let's say I have other device like xs, can I transfer the modem and I'd from the zoom to my xs myself? Would there be any consequences since it says it is for fixed ip? Any difference would happen?

I don't have bad experience with this package as for now. The connection is good, sometimes got down a bit like few minutes (never experiences hours of downtime) & just reboot the router then it's good to go again..

Not only Melaka/Johor have this.. Many more place got but central area KL/Selangor don't have.. YES focused on "urban" area maybe..

p/s : I saw YES FIZ new white modem at dealers nearby my place.. Looks good, the router i mean.. biggrin.gif

thanks for the information smile.gif one last question, how about downloading big files like a season of drama? or this plan is better for those who don't download a lot but more to smoothness in browsing (no buffering etc)? thanks in advance! biggrin.gif

oh, the router looks quite good, but somehow i like the usual zoom design more, looks sophisticated to my eyes brows.gif

Downloading files is no problem.. Can go up until +- 130kbps but for large files like drama etc gonna take a long time lol.. It's just 1 Mbps.. Browsing experience is OK for me.. Youtube is so so.. 480p buffering tho..  thumbup.gif

woah. i don't mind long as long as can download tongue.gif as long as basic browsing like opening quite heavy pages and youtube video doesn't buffer toooo long like if using other broadband plan i think i'm sold drool.gif so you'd say it's quite recommended, huh? brows.gif

If u got Streamyx in ur area, better go with that unless u like me, TM didn't layan my application over 1 year, then fak them & go register YES.  whistling.gif

Hahahh, actually I'm thinking of going from Streamyx to this cause the performance seems to degrade a lot. I'm using the RM100++ plan, but most of the time I end up using mobile data at home and that's even after the new billing cycle. And the customer service sucks so hard, we ask why the line is so slow when the quota is far from finish, bills on time etc etc, their answer is "BUKAN ENCIK SEORANG JE GUNA STREAMYX, BIASALAH LINE SLOW SEBAB RAMAI ORANG LAIN PUN GUNA STREAMYX JUGAK. KALAU NAK LAJU UPGRADELAH PACKAGE."

Like what the hell man apa guna upgrade package kalau service line sendiri slow macam siput babi kena sawan babi?

Hahahaha. Serious?! They say that to me too 2 years back at my hometown!

But I think they improved a lot since then. I'm using Unifi 5mbps at my hometown and till now no issue at all.

haha yeah, not 2 years ago, less than a month ago. i suspect they're taking in part timers to be customer support, haven't gone to course or whatever. doh.gif that really made me contemplate on changing to yes since my place gets powerful yes coverage but the contact is holding me back for now. hmm hmm.gif

They seriously said that? At my place whenever there's slow down I always blackmail TM and said If like this I want to subscribe to other ISP lah. Then less than a day my connection is fix. They also call me back to confirmed whether my line is restored. I'm happy with my 4mbps Streamyx. Used to subscribe with this Fiz but cannot tahan 1mbps speed. If my wife watching Youtube, I cannot even surf Google+.
*
tried blackmailing before, customer service very rude at my place said it's my choice, kalau dapat jumpa yang lagi baik tukarlah.. oh.. that much difference for 4mbps and 1mbps? this is without vpn right?
