QUOTE(Ahn3hn3h @ Aug 15 2013, 02:19 AM) For price comparison look at Digi's recent Prepaid Internet Plan. Still, the mandatory 24 months contract is a turn off.Startup pack: RM25 with 500MB of data Speed: Same 1mbps/384kbps The price? You'll vomit blood just to retrieve data about the size of a regular DVD(4.7GB) DiGi charges RM100 for just 4.5GB of data. Once quota exceeded even when internet days is not, your internet gets cut off DEAD. Does it really cost that much just to retrieve data the size of a DVD when even the original DVD itself might not even cost half of it? To think that our ADSL fixed lines can offer for less with all you can eat UNLIMITED quota, it's just ridiculous. Another comparison is Maxis Hotlink Broadband, just 15GB for RM180??? If you use that on a desktop with all that speed, it's just a matter of days... |

The answer is simple. Less people know the better. YE$ got more money from standard quota based plan.

I went to three Yes store today, one in Lot10 (flagship store) and 2 in Lowyat plaza, and no one seem to know about this plan! I asked them if I can apply for this, and they started to look confused, asked seniors, and come back with crappy answers (the one in Lot10 said these are for schools, and the one in Lowyat said this are for 'kampong' places only, cannot use in KL, and the other one even said that there are no such plans!)

I called the Yes call center regarding this plan. Was told it is designed only for rural area and east coast of Malaysia.
And most importantly, not available in Klang Valley |

The real T&C is, if u register in lets say Penang, u cant bring out that device to Butterworth. There will be no line.
