I done b4 this bad DC happened ,I just exit game n go  to desktop close Diablo program  immediately ,relogin again sure fine.. I means when u solo tat time..

one thing is ....try stand around few mob or creep ingame let go for 5 sec check ur character how much dmg u can stand for , this try for incase when DC ..

finally reached my first L60 HC barb with the generous helps from bro gladfly 
i still couldn't forget the bad elites vortex + frozen at my experience bars L59.6!
Luckily you help me to bump my life to 35k before entering the game, we are in co-op and u help me tank the E, and we have double life per seconds, and then i Leap away like flying chics after the freeze is ended. 
if not, definitely it will be another gg, so close yet too far!

yes bro, damn exciting and refreshing playing HC, completely different game play experience compare with SC.
another thing is, very susah to hunt good gears in HC, both AH & loot also hard to find.
i'm so exciting when won bid or b/o gears from AH even though it is just a pcs junk if compare with SC and i felt appreciated to the gears that i had owned. 

i feel you bro.
after i completed my monk PL100 and ensure it can survive MP10, i felt like no goal to keep farming; after that, i try barb & dh, gear up until doable MP10 and powerlevel until PL75 then i started get bored again eventhough keep switching in between barb-dh but blindly PL made the game very dry, something doesn't right with SC
same situation like you, i get rejuvenated after joined HC
