Actually, if you're using an av cable (composite-yellow, white and red) maximum resolution in 480i. Yeah when xbox 360s were first released HDTVs were not that common. HDMI will allow for full HD resolutions.

Also, go original. You don't need to get 100s of pirated games to get the most value from your purchase. And please do not use these forums to get tech support if you do decide to get a modded xbox.

I think they are, although it doesn't take a rocket scientists to know that people like cheap games. The cleverest thing that Steam has done is getting people to buy games just because they are cheap even if they never actually play it.

Here's hoping that some of it trickles down to the xbox marketplace.
