RTM only has the 'rights' to air over FTA-TV.
Hence, they cannot air in any Pay-TV or online platform |

QUOTE(Mr Loh A+ @ Jun 26 2018, 09:38 PM) Awesome. Finally, we can record the shows and movie. Since HyppTV was the first TV provider in Malaysia to showcase the technology back in Rio 2016, it is expected to be the first provider to provide this kind of service to the consumer. Won't mind getting a more powerful box if can sideload other apps Well, we still don't know how much will the 4K and PVR service cost, but most likely cheaper than Astro. I think this platform upgrade to 4K is also important for their partnership with Netflix |

QUOTE('ed @ Jul 27 2018, 07:30 AM) Dont think so, not many fighting fans here, low demand...wish TM deal with astro again for sport channel like few years back. Unlikely, it's expensive and they are paying around RM100-120m/year for the rights last time. With them giving out Ultimate Pack to many subs now, it's quite hard for them to charge extra $$$ for EPL without getting complained by the public lol |

QUOTE(AVFAN @ Aug 9 2018, 05:34 PM) it's partly own by Astro.http://www.celestialpictures.com/company.asp EDIT Having said that, this doesn't mean Astro won't sell the channel rights to TM for a good price. If it's true, then it's good lar. More film choices especially those from Shaw Brothers that other Chinese movie channels usually don't have This post has been edited by tohff7: Aug 10 2018, 04:27 PM |

QUOTE(Mr Loh A+ @ Aug 20 2018, 08:33 PM) I'm not sure about. But I heard that it's related to the Ultimate pack. I think users can subscribe to Netflix and have it billed together with the Unifi account. They (the team) are still discussing about that! Let's wait and see! Netflix will also be integrated into the Unifi TV box, so good for those that don't have a Smart TV. |
