I think our existing package will remain the same without force to change it.

Take example - my parent previously signed up Ruby pack for RM40 two years plus ago (30Mbps was offered as RM179 for 24 months contract).

Last year TM introduced new HyppTV package where V/A/R/S/Jumbo Lite with same price for RM30, the bill statement stated my parent took Ruby Pack 2 for RM40.
Only after we switched package to 30Mbps (RM139 instead of RM179), then it changed to Ruby Pack for RM30 (without 2 in it).

Chat with TM via LiveChat.... my Jumbo Lite remain as Jumbo Lite with new Unifi TV pack introduced, even it is not found in the system.

If I want to changed to Varnam/Aneka/Ruby (VAR), then I need to be in contract for 12 months, no charges for the change package (unless from Jumbo to VAR will be charged downgrade fee RM10)

I was told no change unless we request to change it, then there will be 12 months and may charge processing fee for this (need to check with TM).

I checked mine... not needed to any fee, just need to be in contract for 12 months, it sound good though.

Auto upgrade package is not practice by TM.
You can change it anytime, do take note you need to have one year contract for it.
Phone call at 100, live chat or walk in to TMPoint will do, they will need to go through authentication process before this can be done.

One year contract is for Unifi TV, not entire Unifi package.
How to change it? Call 100, live chat or walk in to TMPoint (last method) will do.

Currently you are using Ruby pack RM40?
My parent was in this package, I helped them changed to new Ruby pack (RM30) last month, TM charged RM10 for downgrade fee from old Ruby (RM40) to new Ruby (RM30).

Yes...

From "Ruby Pack 2 (RM40)" to Ruby Pack (RM30)" was done on Feb 2018.
- no contract, charged one time "HyppTV Package Downgrade Charge" (RM10)

Now will arrange "Ruby Pack (RM30)" to "Ruby Plus (RM30)"
- with 12 months contract, no charges of changing package (RM30 to RM30)

Walk in to nearby TMPoint request for change HyppTV package, they may apply one year contract for this change.
Once moved from Ruby Pack 2 to Ruby Plus Pack successful, your next bill will show one time charges "HyppTV Package Downgrade Charge" for RM10 (my experience).

I was told depends on situation for contract renewal:
- yes only for upgrade Unifi Package (e.g. 30Mbps to 50Mbps, 50Mbps to 100Mbps)
- contract renewal for Unifi TV only (no contract for Unifi broadband line), STB warranty not cover.

Remote control? Price around RM27 when I search from Google.

My understanding on getting new STB box:
- TM will charger RM400 (appear on your next TM bill), or
- get two-years contract for new STB

Do note TM may charge RM53 for technician visit for this.

Yes it is odd package since Plus pack went live in this month, spoke with Live Chat on this early of the month and was told --> you have to wait patiently. sweat.gif
No rushing to change package, I just want to raise up my hand that I'm still with Jumbo Lite package. laugh.gif
