I think HyppTV is working on getting Nick and Disney as well, but then given Assteruk monopoly, unless miracle happen...

Hope they consider Cartoonito. New channel by Cartoon Network, so far only available in Thailand, Indonesia and Philippines. And it has Strawberry Shortcake and Care Bears...

EXACTLY..    but, with current promotion extended since 1st Jan, it is really obvious that TM does not have enough subscribers .. so, hope they understand that their channels are really lousy...

Not sure. I didn't connect my HyppTV decoder to a HT set. But I suspect it's only stereo especially with the newer Android-based boxes.

for new box, can u root to get:
.. usb playback - most file types? can handle dts/dd?
.. can install xbmc? other apps?

but as ram said, some have claimed they successfully rooted the next box for xbmc and even usb playback...?
i did not follow these threads as i hv no need, just curious.
still, if it is an android, it shud b able to do some of that.
mayb just stereo audio with generic player like vlc, and not dts as that requires license...

Viacom International Media Networks (VIMN) Asia, a division of Viacom Inc. , today announced the award-winning* My Nick Jr., will next launch in Malaysia via its collaboration with Telekom Malaysia Berhad ™ top IPTV service, HyppTV by end of the year, making it the second Asian market to launch and its first introduction in Southeast Asia. Earlier this week, My Nick Jr. was launched in China.

A first of its kind personalized edutainment kids’ service created by Nickelodeon, My Nick Jr. allows parents to curate and customize their children’s multiplatform linear viewing experience around 11 educational themes – whether it is on TV, PC, tablet or mobile phones. Targeted at children from 2-7 years old, the advertisement-free personalized kids’ service allows children to learn in a safe, supervised environment while maximizing their enjoyment watching hundreds of their beloved Nick Jr. episodes in English, Bahasa Malaysia and Mandarin (switched on demand), including titles such as Dora the Explorer, Go Diego Go!, Team Umizoomi and Ni Hao Kai Lan. The language options will be offered progressively over the next few months from its launch date.

I hope they don't replace and run this one as an Interactive service instead.

Afaik, Nick Jr is not available in HD in Asia yet. Or else TM would have switched already (see BBC Knowledge and [V] International, TM switched both to HD as soon as HD version is available).

kodi app itself is a very large app. after creating kodi.org n all the addons to run it, will need 1gb or so.

those hyppbox... very small memory. tm/unifi need to make money, won't give u large memory androids like some in the market with 16 or 32gb.

waste of time trying to make it work. even if u can make it work, it will run only the skeletal apps, i wud think.

You should, as long as you signed up & activated before 31st December, 2016. Actually, based on pricing per Mbps... IMO, the Advance50 plan + free upgrade to 100Mbps is the best bang for buck with TM.

If no contract, u can nego.

It also depends on what promo is on, what tm or dealer u talk to.

The last time for me, i was offered a fair deal... 30mbps (upgraded to 50 this year) lower price than others, megapack, but no new box.

My contract is up next month, will see what i can get.
