yaya.. does it apply? lol..
*
no unless the game specifically requests from Sony to use it. X-Reality is a built in display engine - system modules which application needs permission to activate/use it...in general, X-Reality is in but it depends on application which requests to use it smile.gif

well i'm not sure if bug or not but this firmware eats a bit more battery while watch vid than the previous .475...is it possible that X-Reality consumes more power? also is it normal to only be able to listen to music via a bluetooth speaker only with audio player? my alarm tone still rings at the phone's speaker...ps, this is my first bluetooth phone accessories..lol

So it happened to me that I experienced my first SOD today.

It happened when I turned off auto brightness and set my brightness to the lowest and turned off the screen.

It went deep sleep after awhile. A force reboot then I can't seem to reproduce the SOD again.

Any root user here?
I need to know Standby time before I root my xzu.
Anyone?
*
Configuration:
0% brightness
Stamina mode OFF
Both WiFi and Mobile Data turned ON
GPS, Sync, NFC, Bluetooth all turned ON
Usage: Watch movies, research with heavy Google search, play some MMORPG.

Charging my device at the moment but with
1 hour screen on time, I lost about 25%

Noticeable ~10% more battery consumption compared with .475 rooted.

Still suspecting is due X-Reality consumes more power as it does more processing.

So far rooting has not caused me extra battery consumption recklessly. All is due to my installed root-based services like full!Screen+, roundR, Freedom, Lucky Patcher, Game Guardian, and a lot more.

make sure u replace the chinese super SU app if u wish to root via vRoot.

Upgraded to 510
I just wan to confirm will root affect battery life only

And the internal memory is limited
Just wanted to make sure it's move able or else I won't root hehe
*
i never thought of moving anything, anywhere. 11gb is more than enough for 185 user apps tht i currently using lol~
but anything is possible these days. it's just a matter of want or donwan...

root and battery life is really not related like uncle said. is depend on ur usage. u will definitely use more battery if after root u are using a lot of root-based app that will adds extra background services on ur device

question here.

can i just root my 510 xzu then replace vroot by supersu w/o flashing back to 475?
*
the vroot requires .475 kernel at the moment to root ur device. after rooting, u can flash back .510 kernel...if u wait a little, it might support .510 kernel.
