Roughly it's about 300 - 400m from HTC to the property site. Think it's from East direction. Please correct me if I am wrong.

Hi all, I am new in this forum. I've booked a 856 sqft unit and loan has been approved but have not taken further action yet. I have two concerns; 1. the sinking hole incident and the high tension cable. Will they affect my investment in the future? Anyone has inquired this matter with the SA?

did you check with sa? since you are buyer... here not everyone is buyer..

Yeah you better check with SA since you haven't signed the S&P,make sure the project is completely alright on the sink hole matters.

Based on newpaper photo, it seems the road sinking is due to sheet piling collapse and not due to sink hole

Aiyo, missed so much action here already! Tan & Tan verified that the so-called sinkhole is a failure of the sheet pile and not naturally occurring sinkhole. Nevertheless, SA mentioned that HY stopped work to investigate first, recognising that their 40 storey structure is likely to have more significant impact compared to GResidence. After clarification from T&T and confirmation from their own consultants, resumed work. Am quite impressed by this developer which seems to be very responsive to public concerns for their projects. Good stuff.

Noticed that there are a lot of new members commenting on Sentrio. Quite a good thing but hope all maintain fair perspective with no ulterior motives.

Actually, I'm not concern problem with HTC pass-by the area, which is not harm a distance within 100m of magnitude electrify.

The worry is about their power plant/tnb sub-station , incase explosion enough to make a whole building glass door broken of impact. It can be avoid if follow under safety.

Have you check the statistic, how many TNB Power station explosion happen in Malaysia history?
I believe most people concern is the "electromagnetic radiation" as long term health hazard instead of explosion.

Statistic is very low. The worst in 1996 and 1992 only.

You mean electromagnetic radiation of htc? If you stay in Big city, you can't avoid any radiation like satellite dish, hospital equipment, tv, house cabling & others. HTC is not that worst above 100m distance.
