UC browser is faster. I usually switch between IE and UC. Both are really good imo.Official Windows Phone 8 Discussion Thread! V3, Manually Flash your Lumia 920 with Amber

Well if it's true 8.1 would be good for me. The FB integration thing..
I rarely use it anyway. So it's not something that i'll miss if it's gone or anything. I would say it's heading to the right direction, if almost all RT apps supports that means more apps for WP. |

Lumia Icon looks pretty solid and pretty competitive with the other phones.
Feature wise very awesome, design wise a bit disappointing. |

QUOTE(sai86 @ Feb 14 2014, 05:07 PM) what is the market price for lumia 925? or which lumia you guys recommend to go which on par with note 2. You want to compare with Note 2 then 1520 la. Wait why Note 2 when not 3 is already out? ICON looks great but sadly we will not get it exclude 1520 as 6 inch is juz too big for my hand. If you want something good i'd recommend either Lumia 925 or 1020. 925 current retail price is probably around RM 1,350.00 While the 1020 is around RM1900. If you can wait a bit which I think is better all mobile company is going to announce their new flagship soon. |

QUOTE(piscesguy @ Feb 14 2014, 05:35 PM) Read post #17. Defective units. Most are doing fine, just because some got it, doesn't mean all the 925 will have this issues.I just bought a 925 yesterday. In certain areas (most notably where I live in), there is absolutely NO signal. I've asked my local service provider (Maxis in Malaysia) to check, they did some resets. It seemed OK for a while, but once I got home, the problem happened again. To confirm - I used the same SIM on my old Lumia 800, and there were no issues. Which would more or less confirm that it's a phone issue, not network The probably of someone getting a defective unit will be low, only some will be unlucky like that guy. My friend is using his 925 just fine for your info. |

QUOTE(fixgd @ Feb 20 2014, 08:49 PM) cant nokia reverse engineer the battery life from let say htc. I don't know what is wrong with yours but my 920 previously could do just well on 3G/LTE for a whole day.im so envious that my friend can be on 3G for whole day, while my 920 cant. battery capacity is almost the same, i gotta say well done HTC on this. Now i'm using 1020 and everywhere I go LTE is now available, I could last around 2 days. |

QUOTE(matmoto5125 @ Feb 21 2014, 08:54 AM) I tried to install Asphalt 8 last night, got free space of 1.7GB but failed though stated in Store only 800MB++. Then I know need at least 2.4GB for installation. False advertising.. Such large game needs to be unpacked for installation so it requires more spaces than it says, it is quite normal mate.Even your computer needs extra space for installation such as the .cab file extension which some setup used. |

QUOTE(basara2020 @ Mar 17 2014, 06:40 PM) Anyone here using UC browser?. From last update I think quite drain battery. Phone feel warm. I compare to IE11. Not warm at all. I use UC because have easy access dial and forwad/back button. Yeah I notice this too.. Battery drains a bit and sometimes cannot load some pages just white blank screen which is odd.Today got some update but not try yet.. -l1520 user |

QUOTE(s7ran9er @ Apr 9 2014, 10:12 AM) Sony + Windows Phone 8.1 is on it's way. More choices is good for WP.The outlook design language will match well with the tiles. Source: Pocketnow But the lack of firmware updates is a let down. If not lacking, at least I could complain that it takes forever for them to release it. |
