no error, it just if I check on phone updates, it said my phone is updated to most current one, I believe is GDR2.

I've check the version, it's the same as in the link.

Then you should had latest Lumia Amber firmware + GDR2 update.

If you referring that Extras + Info section in settings didn't show Lumia Amber, try update it using following QR code:

Or you can download lumia updater apps to access extras + info on Apps store.

P/S, seems now need to change region to US only can download it.

I downloaded Lumia Amber Check, it says that my phone is updated to GDR2.

but when I check at extras + info, it stated Lumia Amber.

why got two different version in my phone?

First thing need to clarify:

GDR2: Grand Distribution Release 2 by Microsoft for WP8.

Unlike the first GDR1 (Portico), where Microsoft release the update to phone owner by themselves.

But after GDR1, Microsoft had changed policy and will release the GDR to all WP8 phone manufacturer (Nokia, Samsung, HTC, Huawei), let the phone manufacturer doing their own hardware testing and may bundle it with their own firmware update, so different phone manufacturer will release GDR2 update different time.

For Nokia, Nokia choose to bundle it with their own firmware update (Lumia Amber) and release it to all Nokia WP8 phone owner.

So if you had Lumia Amber firmware on your phone, your phone had already updated with GDR2. Since the GDR2 is bundled inside Lumia Amber update when you download it.

one Lowyat member here already got it on his HTC a week back iirc. You can try Googling if Lumias got it.

Guys. Just wanna know. Coz my dad interested to buy lumia 520 fone. Does this fone has t9 keypad? I mean, the qwerty pad can be change to t9 pad or not? He's not familiar using qwerty. T9 pad is the abc, def, ghi, jkl, mno, pqrs pad..

and, in the messaging, does it has Draft function? My dad needs the Draft function. He is using xperia s now but android doesnt have draft. Old man trying to adapt the new tech.

There is no T9 keyboard included with WP8 but I found this app:

The SMS function does have a Drafts folder, though it's not so obvious at first.

2014 I believe for Lumia Black.

Wtf windows phone. I took several photos this afternoon and now when I want to find it, they were not in the photos app and nowhere to be found. It happened just a few days ago with the smart camera, I took several bursts and the phone hanged.

hi, how to download the attached image in the email, i can't find the option.

Thinking of sending my phone for repair since I'm still under warranty. Problem is that my battery drains out unexpectedly, as in battery is at around 40% then the phone just bricks as if the battery is dead at less than 5%.

Anybody got experience with Nokia's repair services? How long does it usually take to get my phone back?

Try to press and hold the image you want to save for certain time, it will pop out option to let you choose to save image.

I thought Amber have FM radio, but I cannot find it.

FM Radio is located at XBox Music + Video, need earphone as antenna to hear it.

Only Lumia 620 don't support FM radio after update to GDR2 due to hardware limitation.

L520 does not support Glance, but the settings are there after updating.

But you can't change anything in there and therefore is useless on L520 lol.
