that's some severe subconjunctival hemorrhage there..bleeding under the conjunctival layer due to the 'sucking' pressure from the mask.
She was probably doing breath-hold diving to quite deep, as in strictly no-air-in-no-air-out kind. a simple release of air into the mask from the nose while holding the mask on would relieve the mask squeeze.
It's not something i'd be worried about during diving. and this condition doesn't affect our sight permanently anyway.
Interestingly she could withstand that amount of squeeze to the face. lol Thx for sharing though, it's interesting to see the effects of improper diving techniques.

You can share share with us here too! It's a bit hard to do video calls during our TT as it can be quite noisy and we might have a big group. Where are you btw?

I was the only Chinese guy having lunch with Malays fellow divers which about 3-4 tables from you guys... We all talk3talk4 until 3something ... Before I seated for my lunch, I actually walk pass u guy, holding a pair of Blue Cressi Frog Fins and a yellow Hypergear drybag... probably some of u spot me^^ hahaha...

Hm, twice I've been to Sipadan was in July. Out of the (almost) 2 weeks, only remembered 1 morning where it drizzle quite a bit. Other than that, it was all sun sun sun.
i agree most of the dive center will require you to show AOW for some dive. The reason i said this just want to tell EvanSoon I am not a sifu, no matter what level you are, always rem " DIVE SAFE" rather then the certification level.
