QUOTE(fantasy1989 @ Aug 14 2013, 02:53 PM) this ad is talking about low light photography on 925(OIS+big sensor) Need to wait car equipped with HID passby? normal camera phone (doesnt have OIS ...cannot perform very very long/slow shutter speed ..usually capped at certain shutter speed to prevent bler image) and single led arent bright enough(so they required car light) btw, If you look clearly, Nokia also make a subtle jab at Apple and Android. |

If talk about basic accessories, should had AC240V power plug + USB cable, earphone set, and key to unlock sim card tray.
WIreless charging shell and wireless charging pad sold seperately. |

QUOTE(kyu85 @ Aug 24 2013, 12:07 AM) 925 pre-loaded with amber+gdr2 update. no need to update firmware from Nokia.Nokia Pro Camera you need to download seperately at Windows Phone Apps Store. At there go to Nokia Collection, you can see Noka Pro Camera apps is on top of the list. |

QUOTE(kyu85 @ Aug 24 2013, 12:16 AM) I didn't use any battery meter apps, so can't recommend you any good apps. Also your phone might need to update system apps "extras+info" to unlock call+sms filter function on your phone. http://www.windowsphone.com/s?appid=2377fe...f3-fc517345a3c0 |

Depend on your telco's plan package.
If your line only support 3G/3.5G, just set it as 3G. If your line had 4G LTE, you can set it to 4G. If your phone reach certain area that had unstable connection, you can set it to lower (2G for example), to save battery power. |

Price for both not much different, 925's RRP is 1599 while 920's RRP is 1549.
925's camera's lens is slightly better than 920, as Nokia manage to add extra 1 lens (6 lens) into camera housing. 925's display is using AMOLED display while 920 is using IPS display, so you definitely feel there is difference between both display. Both display's pixel resolution still the same. 925 is lighter weight and don't had built-in wireless charging coil, you need to buy extra wireless charging shell if you wish to use Nokia's wireless charging pad. 925 also thinner compare to 920. 925 had smaller storage space compare to 920, no SD card support. 925 use aluminium body shell while 920 use polycarbonate. Other remain much the same, especially after 920 get amber update (same with the one 925 getting now) Depend on your choice, as 925 is not an upgrade to 920, is just another option provided by Nokia for different user preference (especially those people that complain on 920's weight). QUOTE(Gibson91 @ Sep 17 2013, 06:03 PM) 920 before "amber" firmware update vs 925 (preloaded amber)http://allaboutwindowsphone.com/features/i..._between_th.php 920 after "amber" firmware update vs 925: http://allaboutwindowsphone.com/features/i..._Lumia_920_.php Seems Nokia using different camera's post image processing algorithm on Lumia 920 on amber update. Also Lumia 920 and 925 had other differences: 920 use IPS LCD display, while 925 is using AMOLED. 920 had built-in wireless charging coil, 925 don't had, so if 925 want to use wireless charging pad, need to buy wireless charging shell. 920 is way more heavier than 925. |

QUOTE(TradingHouse @ Sep 19 2013, 09:05 AM) Guys, Currently Glance Screen only had function to show time and your phone is in vibration mode or not.just got my black 925 last night. wanna check with u all. does the glance screen only show time? or time + battery status? mine only show time. Cant seem to find a way to get it to display battery status as well. Battery status will only display while you're charging your 925. Nokia will add more notifications in the future. http://www.wpcentral.com/nokia-enhancement...lance-and-touch This post has been edited by lcy851031: Sep 19 2013, 09:12 AM |

QUOTE(weirdguy @ Sep 24 2013, 06:01 PM) If I am not wrong, you have to use a USA Local Address as your CC Billing. Actually is on first page of official WP8 discussion thread, but use Singapore as example instead of US.Pardon me, it has been really while since I tweaked these setting. If I am not wrong again, someone sticked this issue in the First Page. I believe Lumia 920 Lowyat Page. https://forum.lowyat.net/topic/2917196 |

QUOTE(Che Guevara @ Sep 24 2013, 11:53 PM) Microphone? Hey what is the colour of your 925? So any difference in term of apps/games offered in store when you set it to different region. Eg US, singapore or malaysia? Got some difference, as some apps is only publish on certain country due to various reason (for example certain apps only can be used on certain country).Malaysia region definitely had lesser apps compare to Singapore/US. Also if you change to other region, you will be using other region's local currency (direct conversion of RM to other currency) for purchasing the apps. So sometimes the price might be different if the forex exchange value had changed a lot. |
