Finally! but suddenly my pc cant detect my lumia 925, any solution? im using windows 8.1

Open Device Manager on your PC, check under Portable Devices & Universal Serial Bus devices, found anything there?

yeah nokia lumia 925 (RM-892) but in my computer cant see the phone.

Try restart the phone with the USB attached to the PC

EDIT : It seems your driver is very old (Mine 2012, while yours is 2006). Try to install the Nokia Software Recovery Tool which will install a bunch of driver during installation

solved dy with google help. cant update because b****y. something with missing this update. Windows6.3-KB2835517-x64.msu

For those who haven't update yet, could you guys record how much the download size for this update is?

I was on WP 8.1 DP before so the update was pretty quick to download and install.

Anyone already received the official update? On Nokia website currently two devices (925 & 625) already listed as available.

Got it on my L925 this morning, yet after using WP8.1 Preview for last three months there is not much new.. noticed the WiFi and data icons now got activity arrows.

Guys, I am planning on buying a Lumia 925. It is a 2nd hand device so I wanna make sure everything is fine with it.
What are the most common problems in L925? What should I be checking there? Hope u guys can share some info. thanks.

I've been using L925 for about 2 weeks now, and here's my main gripe with it :

- The metal border will get warm when browsing internet or playing games
- The screen when displaying white looks a little yellow compare to an IPS display, but you'll get used to it

I've been using L925 for nearly six months. You get used to the heat (better the heat come out than the chips are frying inside, at least the device cools down quickly if you just rest it for a few minutes).

I got no yellow tinging on mine (except the three capacitive keys at the bottom), but I did set the colour profile on the cool and natural side of the display settings.

Overall, I would say L925 is a "cool" device and well worth it for the price that secondhand units are now selling for.

how about battery life guys? im the kind that always leave my data on, around 20 whatsapp texts, 10 mins call, 2 hours+ web browsing.

PS: owh forgot to ask, been reading that there r some issues with whatsapp in wp? is it true? do u guys encounter any of this? whatsapp is the main app that is needed for me to be honest.

maybe you can try set cool colour at colour profile in display setting

hmm, a question... i am using 8.1 preview version... just try OTA check for update, it said no new update... cant OTA update it?

Tried, but still doesn't look pure white compare to my previous L620 display

Check Settings > About. At the "phone information" under "Carrier" what does it say?

I'm also on DP, and the Cyan download was 114MB according to my Data Sense.
