What is going on people?? Are they gonna wiped out zoids permanently?? I'm getting worried now as the way they sell all of em.. like not going to restock or sell zoids anymore!!
Based on what I see when i do my purchase.
There are not many NJRs out there now. particularly the small or windup zoids. So those pteras, sinker, godos, guysack, storch, hellcats, cannon tortieses etc which u see commonly last few years in malaysia are facing mass extinction. I gone to websites that carry stock of these are stating that manufacturer has stop production since 2004. So those u see on shelfs are probably left overs. sometimes the boxes are badly damage from taking it out and putting it back in stocks. Sometimes you have to look between those blox zoids for them.
For the battery operated NJRs, not many out there even now these zoids are heavily sort at like DS, MT, US, Salamander, Gordos etc. Once this phase is out, you will only see at most 2 boxes at each hobby stores. You can forget about departmental stores carrying them. I can bet only 1 out of 10 have it.
What i can say now is The genesis line and blox line will still be in circulation as most of the departmental store & TRU sell which are mainly distributed by lit takk. The Mugen, Murasame & Hayate are hard to come by now though.
On the other hand the best places to get a variety of zoids which are not distributed by lit tak is in Low yatt and BTS. I already check with the owner they don't take it from lit tak. I remember Fantasy toy in Low Yat fella told me if it's from lit tak got small sticker that says distributed by lit tak. BTS timemachine owner said he goes overseas to buy them and ships them back based on what is demanded in Malaysia which includes MT which he sells for only RM100.
I wanna advise people buying in Lit tak shop in Sg. wang. You can get cheaper in departmental. I realised LT price is much higher and offer discount to attract customers. Knowing lit tak they are model kits focus and they can't throw 20%, 50% or 70% discount like the big departmental people. This is because departmental would already made the discounts back on other departments of their store, their turnover is millionssss. Think why harry potter selling in hypermarkets 69.90 where by bookseller focused sells it at 109.90. Because they need the margin. Hypermarkets can even if they only make RM1 because they know they can. Just wait for Lit Tak warehouse sale.
