suet,

THAT or a passkey device. Its a "homebrew" application so the DS encryption validation needs to be bypassed and passed to the GBA cart.

myliew,

Moonshell is operating in DS mode, whereas the SC movie player is meant for GBA. Therefore the Moonshell one works much better

To get it to work, just put moonshell.nds on your SCSD and put your mp3s on the SD card. Same goes for pictures, oggs, text files etc.

However, if you want to play movies they need to be converted first.

If you read my previous post HERE pls disregard it.

The way to do it is when you run the "Setup.exe" choose the drive of your SD card. Please don't use EXFS as that is meant for a GBA flash cart with no FS for u to put your files. Uncheck those other things that is not SuperCard at the bottom.

Once that is done, click the "setup" button and everything u need will be copied over to your SD card and run!

Try this instead :

http://www.tmpgenc.net/en/e_main.html

But as kennyboy pointed out, you might just want to try :

http://ls5.cydonianknight.com/?Download

and forget about the one in ScDev. I've only tried the first one actually and I don't use my DS for videos.

Hmmm.. ok here's the story...

U need to convert to mpg first, then use "dpgenc" to convert to dpg for the DS to play. "dpgenc" only takes mpg files, and the first step using the program is to make it all into mpg first. BatchDPG is supposed to do all that in a single step, thats why i suggested it at first though I have not used it before.

"dpgenc" used to be distributed with moonshell i think. no matter, u can get it here :

http://home.att.ne.jp/blue/moonlight/moons...10_dpgtools.zip

Sorry for the "partial" information in my posts, I've only tried it briefly once as I don't view movies on my DS, so abit hazy.

Good luck!

hehehe you're welcome.

After all the trouble, the quality is a bit of a disappointment ei?

MP3 on the other hand seems to play well and sounds pretty OK too coming out of the DS speakers IMHO.

Here's nice little tutorial on how to get YouTube videos on your Moonshell enabled DS.
