QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 8 2013, 02:49 PM) 2-yr total return was 9%+ But I average in mar...I din buy lump sum. Biggest lump was in 2012. More or less there lar...why so anal? AMDYNAMIC cannot cushion my loss sometimes. So went to look look see see. The 'OTHER PERFORMANCE DATA' column (http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/fundinfo/viewFund.svdo?sedolnumber=MYAMDNMB), 2011 - 10.12%. 2010 - 9.08%. Each year is cumulative or 1 year by itself? I know you look at 'FUND PERFORMANCE (BID-TO-BID ANNUALIZED RETURNS)' column.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 8 2013, 02:58 PM) Those figures (10.12%, 9.08% etc) are 1-Jan or that year to 31-Dec of that year), 1-year return. Instead of cushioning against equity losses, now it's equity funds (esp global ones) cushioning bond fund losses. HSAO shows red. GEYF shows red too

QUOTE(yklooi @ Oct 9 2013, 01:24 PM) mine too, almost same same but after reading this recently .... "As of 24 September 2013, FBMKLCI is trading at 15.2X and 13.8X estimated PE ratio for 2014 and 2015, just marginally lower than its 16.0X fair PE. With upside potential by end-2015 at only around 15.0% (which is one of the lowest amongst markets we cover), we are downgrading the Malaysia equity market to 2.5 stars “neutral”." http://www.fundsupermart.com.my/main/artic...df_Malaysia.pdfwanted to switch but currently all still "RED" cannot do anything yet....not until after M'sia budget announcement and the debt ceiling are out of current "clear and present danger". Those that take the risk during the uncertain market will be rewarded. Budget announced, debt ceiling solved- news would settled in already.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 9 2013, 02:22 PM) The fund manyzers of the equity funds I'm holding already overweighting Asia+EM...my developed markets allocation dropped from 30%+ to low 20%+ bcos of their switch of allocation. I'm thinking to top up more on US and Europe too. Good time to average down my GEYF. But HSAO is badly hit too. Asia market should be quite attractive now.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 11 2013, 01:51 PM) See centre-right of the main page Wait 1-3 weeks for the distribution to be credited to your account. What I usualy do is, I'd suspend my NAV x units calculation at the cum-distribution date. I noticed that. I meant the distribution units (in distribution statement) that you are entitled to. Do they send an email to you the distribution statement?

Went to see the recommended portfolio by FSM. The higher the risk of portfolio, the lower the profit and even higher the lost at the moment.

QUOTE(Pink Spider @ Oct 16 2013, 04:32 PM) Actually HSAQ and HSAO is very similar in asset allocation and securities they invested in. HSAQ CAN have a bit exposure to mid-large caps (see their mandate as per prospectus). Sometimes I compare their fact sheets and annual reports, I why the heck am I wasting time investing in HSAO, since PGSF already got exposure to Asian large caps. My advice, slowly include some GEM exposure... That's the only advice I thought my portfolio sure taikor here complain as well So it's in line with my comment too then. To increase equity portion, slowly increase US/Europe exposure and include some GEM.

QUOTE(yklooi @ Oct 17 2013, 01:36 PM) looking at the pie chart...may i ask. the country % allocation is based from the fund allocation or the allocation taking consideration of the % of money in your portfolio? example, if Pacific Global Star has 16% in US and 10% of your portfolio money is in PGSF does the pie chart show 16% US or 1.6% US (10% of 16%)? Pink...what about your pie chart? which method? 10% x 16%.
