every times i open some links, it becomes so dim, then i need off the auto brightness, then turn back on after done with the link. btw i need the auto brightness for battery saving (it works).

Dude you can only take the roms etc for your specific model. Anything else will brick your phone.

Hmmm... after I turn off the wifi, and use my 3G, it won't download. So I guess something is being configured to actively run download/upload when it is on wifi connection...

I've a friend who own Note2 (unrooted). Yesterday, out of a sudden, everything in the DCIM folder in the internal storage is gone. The SNote also gone. There's no traces of the phone being factory reset since all the apps/games are still there. Oh..also, there's no ext-card on this phone...

Is there a way to recover those files in DCIM folder without rooting it?

If you connect your Note 2 to your PC, ur DCIM will be storage to PC. You can use any PC program to recover file.
