suddenly i  freaked out about recovery image. I'm using TWRP now. But readings on CM10.2 and supernexus thread at xda specifically mentioned on using CWM. As what i understand, both recovery image serve the same purpose and function. Is it okay if i flashed these 2 roms using twrp?

Does your charger cable get tangled up? Ever? My charger cable all i need is to charge and throw around and lose it in the office. Am not willing to pay premium for it. If it was a sleeve that u can put any headphones into however...

If if it can , I doubt it will be cheap . Whats the point , cables get burned and spoil these days . Only those cables from the older generations of phones seem to be the real deal , still functioning as it was since day 1 . My Omnia HD cable which I'm using now , outlived my SGS3 cable and many others .
TWRP is CM based recovery even if it's not CWM . Phil recovery as well if I remember . Do note , make sure u r on a CM based recovery or else u will have a permanent brick flashing CM roms

Normally I experience broken cable at the end of the lighting connector. The original cable is pretty flimsy and it breaks after certain month of usage.

The problem is in order to get MFi certification by Apple, you will first need to have an account with Apple. Then you will need to get the certification by Apple in order to purchase the authentication IC for the cable.
I don't supposed any local company would want to go into the hassle of obtaining an account and then a certification from Apple just to manufacture 1 solid cable for you

From the info from kickstarter, the earliest the cable will be dispatch would be Jan'14
