QUOTE(neuromancerx @ Sep 3 2013, 09:46 AM) suddenly i freaked out about recovery image. I'm using TWRP now. But readings on CM10.2 and supernexus thread at xda specifically mentioned on using CWM. As what i understand, both recovery image serve the same purpose and function. Is it okay if i flashed these 2 roms using twrp? and to answer this... why are you freaked out? did TWRP caused your phone to lose any important information? because, CWM is OFFICIALLY SUPPORTED doesn't mean other recoveries do not work as well... i have used TWRP exclusively since the beginning of the dinosaur period because of its quicker and easier backup and restore process (more reliable too), a touch interface with touchwake built in, and reduces the use of the hard keys somewhat (minimal but its still useful) http://www.kickstarter.com/projects/laudow...rry-and-windows joytest, superman7,, noobi3, baronic eh ini can made in malaysia? aluminium heads with woven cables? i want le |

QUOTE(Baronic @ Sep 3 2013, 12:06 PM) Does your charger cable get tangled up? Ever? My charger cable all i need is to charge and throw around and lose it in the office. Am not willing to pay premium for it. If it was a sleeve that u can put any headphones into however... Yes, mine tangles like wantan noodles that i wanna eati don't "throw" things around, i care for them like i care for my own puppy QUOTE(Noobi3 @ Sep 3 2013, 12:29 PM) If if it can , I doubt it will be cheap . Whats the point , cables get burned and spoil these days . Only those cables from the older generations of phones seem to be the real deal , still functioning as it was since day 1 . My Omnia HD cable which I'm using now , outlived my SGS3 cable and many others . i mean, baronic wanna do something entrepreneural (i'm not spelling right today, wth), so why not do this... TWRP is CM based recovery even if it's not CWM . Phil recovery as well if I remember . Do note , make sure u r on a CM based recovery or else u will have a permanent brick flashing CM roms LOL... the site even have those blueprints ready |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Sep 3 2013, 05:10 PM) Nice and I actually like it. pledge RM66 for a cable? i'll get 10 from taobaoAt least for Apple connectors, it comes with the MFi certified IC built-in the lighting connector and therefore the higher cost is justifiable. It is slightly more costlier to manufacture lighting cable compared to microUSB cable. Build looks solid, taking the design quality from premium headphones. If you pledge USD 15, you're entitle for 1 cable and additional USD 5 for shipment outside the US (early birds). USD 20 is approx MYR 66. The original Apple lighting cable is MYR 79. Normally I experience broken cable at the end of the lighting connector. The original cable is pretty flimsy and it breaks after certain month of usage. So, who's pledging? QUOTE(joytest @ Sep 3 2013, 05:39 PM) I have no flimsy fruit devices haha... temptationQUOTE(mudkipryan94 @ Sep 3 2013, 05:50 PM) leaked? looks nothing special, i could photoshop that myself using dos + paintQUOTE(Superman7 @ Sep 3 2013, 05:51 PM) and there you go, temptation done! do you think we can ask someone to manufacture this as we want it? |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Sep 4 2013, 09:47 AM) The problem is in order to get MFi certification by Apple, you will first need to have an account with Apple. Then you will need to get the certification by Apple in order to purchase the authentication IC for the cable. i don't want apple cable lar >.< I don't supposed any local company would want to go into the hassle of obtaining an account and then a certification from Apple just to manufacture 1 solid cable for you From the info from kickstarter, the earliest the cable will be dispatch would be Jan'14 Just nice for iPhone 5S, C, D, E, F.... i want the micro usb in metal with a metal samsung charger that outputs a perfect 2.1A every single time (put like gold plated components in it) Yes, the iPhone 5S(ucker), C(heapskate), D(erp), E(diot), F(ark) |

QUOTE(Superman7 @ Sep 4 2013, 09:54 AM) I still like my iPad mini what's AWG? Alex's Women and Girls? Get a gold cable with AWG18 or less + short cable (10cm) + 2.1A output charger = you'll get your almost perfect charging anyways, taobao cables are usually even better than those by Samsung, but it lacks sync features, only awesome charging... i wonder if there would be a cheaper alternative to the kickstarter Juice thing |

QUOTE(antt00 @ Sep 6 2013, 02:00 PM) Come on. You are not even trying. I am sure you can fit it nicely on the back cover with cellotape or something else alexng2208 can recommend. LOL... where is the "burned" fella... i think if she used a really short taobao cable and connect charger to phone, and then stick phone to the zomgogogo case using like blue tack or weld it there (whichever tickles your fancy), your phone is truly, plug and play |

my dilemma,
seeing all the awesome things i can do with the SPen on TW, i am so sorely tempted to go back to TW after being on CM10.1 then 10.2 if i do go back, how do i make TW feel at home? can i change the dpi easily via build.prop? which ROM is one you'd recommend since i cannot refer to the fantastic work by joytest anymore due to newer ROMs coming on board HOW HOW HOW and i also want the AOSP lock screen This post has been edited by alexng2208: Sep 6 2013, 02:52 PM |
