how much is the pay..? The website shows RM1600++. Do they give any allowances? If yes, how much? Thanx.

Yes, they do give allowances..
like house allowances, car allowances and etc (can't remember all)
for the new PTD officer which is M41, the salary can go as high as rm2.5k
Increment every year of rm80
and upgrade to M44 after 3 years. M44 salary can go up to rm4k..
So, go figure.. The highest PTD can get is about rm19k. however, that's a long way to go..

of course, you will need minimum a degree (any field). then, if you're lucky, there will send you a letter to attend the examination (1st stage). then PAC (2nd stage), then interview (3rd stage). After that, 2 weeks course. Followed by DPA (Diploma) of 9 months. Then.. tada.. PTD officer.. of course, there are people who failed the DPA. So, have to work hard all the way up.. gud luck

Exam just wearing proper attire.. No need to be so formal..

Talking about salary, starting for M41 P1T1 is 1733.59 + (ITKA) 300 + (Housing) 210 + (COLA) 150 - EPF = RM2,127.59.

now got pay increment ma....15%............

Not necessarily, a friend once told me, the most important thing, be yourself during PAC n interview. If all you care is about power, don't apply for the job. It is not about power but PRIDE.

i received a letter today, asking me to take this PTD exam. quite surprising also, coz i forgot that i applied for the job last month

the exam is next saturday, 4th august. so wish me luck
