Using the short yoobao interchangeable cable, GCC reads 1300 max from a usb3 port on my notebook. I usually use this for top up changing in the office.

The problem with electricity is that it's not 100% efficient so there will be fluctuations. With 2.0, there are a few tricks that makes it able to sustain, or hit the max charge rage more frequently without actually killing the battery with high heat or something.

Usb3 official spec rates max output at 900ma, so anything else is a bonus. Probably the output motherboard has a vendor enhancement allowing higher output.

Charging depend on the charger output. 2A is max so far for Samsung high-end phones. IF they change to 2.5A, it would be faster or same speed charging like on the Note 2

i thought the max charge input is controlled by the kernel no? in s2 got a chip to regulate the charge input whether it's usb or ac and even if you use a higher amp it will limit it. The kernel i'm using has an option to edit this limit placed by the kernel

Are we talking bout Quick Charge 2.0 or the new usb 3.0 on the Note3..?

the quick charge only enable when we plug in ac or applicable to usb charging too?

Normal computer USB2 port max power = 500mA. USB3 port at 900mA.
Charge using power adapter 2000mA doesn't matter USB2 or USB3

then the quickcharge only applicable on power adapter?
do them work for power bank too?

Note II only USB2 port so when charge using PC only 500Ma
But charge using adapter or 2A powerbank still 2000Ma

Easier to understand ke this way?
