dog are not sinful to touch, to take care of, or breed out of it

in fact dog are just any other animal that god created

just what make them filthy (as in dirty like you play in the mud) is that dog don't have sweat gland like us. they sweat through their tongue

and there's when the filthy part kick in. imagine sweat + saliva + germ

high chance of getting disease

so in islam, after touching you just need to samak eg purify oneself with 6 part of water and 1 part of fresh earth

i've been playing with dogs and cats even as far owning one (temporary after my cousin depart to USA before he ask to ship the dog there)
