QUOTE(saru04 @ Sep 9 2013, 12:23 PM) Basically, when i change or repair the radiator, the temperature will be normal. but after few months the radiator will crack due to engine heat. Which part cracked? That black plastic part (top/bottom)?Thats what the mechanic told me. Thats super weird, my standard radiator doesnt have problem like that (with or without using extractor heatshield) Your thermostat still ok? |

QUOTE(saru04 @ Sep 9 2013, 03:22 PM) have u replace the plastic already? if not yet, then change at other cuci tangki shop first..even though IF your thermostat jammed, the build up pressure inside still wont crack the black plastic.. p/s: what is a thermostat? hmmm, go ask uncle google |

QUOTE(ahlong @ Sep 9 2013, 08:33 AM) got a friend facing this problem every month. he changed to exora like radiator (2 fan). been a week running with it and no problem. he still dont know what cause the overheated case. everything has been checked and no minor injury with his head/radiator/fan/motor. maybe he's/your's engine too hawt or the relay timing too late to kick in the fan? QUOTE(terminatorkun @ Sep 9 2013, 09:13 AM) berapa kena for this?Where to order buy?can fit oem gen2 tak?? i also mau cari satu.. QUOTE(wandzul @ Sep 9 2013, 11:07 AM) So is the temperature still normal or shot up already? low temp minyak kuat meh?Maybe sleeve xngam already, generate extra heat Temp too low no good also bang.. minyak kuat splash shield punya clip ade makan sekali ke? patut la tak cukup Usually is RM2xx all in if there's no faulty part.. may vary but should be around that figure la then what are those fuel/petrol cooler for ah?Anyone can help? It gets cooled by aircond gas... |

QUOTE(alpha33 @ Sep 9 2013, 10:20 PM) low temp minyak kuat meh? It cools fuel isnt it? But it doesnt cool engine temp iinm, thermostat still opens at 82 deg above (this will maintain engine temperature)..then what are those fuel/petrol cooler for ah?Anyone can help? It gets cooled by aircond gas... The concept of this fuel cooler i think is from the idea of cooler fuel = denser fuel = more power? I dont know much about this All i know is, cooler engine temp (read: coolant temp gauge at low position) will trigger warm up mode at the ECU.. and resulting the ECU supplies more fuel to warm the engine up to working temperature.. Correct me if i'm wrong p/s: Suddenly come 1 idea gila.. we knew petrol is colder than ambient temperature, right? how about if we reroute the fuel to run through a small grill/radiator/coil inside the airbox or in the middle of the air duct.. the idea is to cool down the air coming into the intake manifold (much like the aircond system inside the dashboard).. since cooler air intake = more powahhh This post has been edited by wandzul: Sep 9 2013, 10:43 PM |

QUOTE(wandzul @ Sep 9 2013, 10:38 PM) It cools fuel isnt it? But it doesnt cool engine temp iinm, thermostat still opens at 82 deg above (this will maintain engine temperature).. yea. cool fuel. but not sure if it works in NA. cos i seen them before in japanese imports mercedes, Kompressor engine. Maybe compressor/turbo have hotter air going in, so a fuel cooler works better in this? I am not sure tho. But judging its used in german cars, and japanese is not a damn hot country, so i think it does make a different. I THINK la...sini siapa pakai BOT, boleh tolong test? The concept of this fuel cooler i think is from the idea of cooler fuel = denser fuel = more power? Correct me if i'm wrong as for the engine, bukankah lebih minyak = rich = less heat combustion? Lean = more hot = more cepat warm kan? i think during colder time, idling will be more higher thus the more fuel makan...i rasa la..... anymore better and trustable explainations? |

Pergi kedai dengan niat nak bawak pulang kete. Skali tengok ketuk tak cantik daaa.. Mula2 biar si bf tu yang do all the talking. Tapi sebab dia baik sangat, aku bukak mulut laser ni, sembur2 sikit, terus orang kedai tu kata nak buat balik semua. Kalau aku bayar RM100 takpe gak, ni aku bayar RM480 kot. Sakit mata je tengok ketuk tak sempurna.
Sekian, update malam ini. |

QUOTE(alpha33 @ Sep 9 2013, 10:45 PM) as for the engine, bukankah lebih minyak = rich = less heat combustion? Lean = more hot = more cepat warm kan? Use this to restore your faith i think during colder time, idling will be more higher thus the more fuel makan...i rasa la..... anymore better and trustable explainations? http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Engine_control_unit QUOTE For an engine with fuel injection, an engine control unit (ECU) will determine the quantity of fuel to inject based on a number of parameters. If the throttle position sensor is showing the throttle pedal is pressed further down, the mass flow sensor will measure the amount of additional air being sucked into the engine and the ECU will inject fixed quantity of fuel into the engine ( most of the engine fuel inlet quantity is fixed). If the engine coolant temperature sensor is showing the engine has not warmed up yet, more fuel will be injected (causing the engine to run slightly 'rich' until the engine warms up). Mixture control on computer controlled carburetors works similarly but with a mixture control solenoid or stepper motor incorporated in the float bowl of the carburetor. QUOTE(wandzul @ Sep 9 2013, 10:50 PM) terima kasih" Depends on the cooling system. A radiator in the fuel line takes no energy, just as running the fuel line the length of the tunnel on a snowmobile. Ferrari Lemans guys use the air conditioner to cool the fuel, it takes 7hp to spin the airconditioner but they gain 35 to 40 horses with it. " source |
