It's a good car,go ahead for it if you can fork out more cash i suggest you go for the lantis instead. at least it looks more moden than astina. For parts you don need to worry since mazda can share parts with ford. Im driving a Ford Laser Lynx 1.8 2 door, 30% of the parts on my ford are from lantis after i met with an accident tongue.gif yeah, convert it with B8 engine brows.gif

TS, so whats the verdict??? buy lah buy lah.....then post photos here.....!!! Astina and Lantis are quite good looking cars, especially those with B6/B8 engines are quite exciting to drive.....but too bad they are FF, no offense, 'cause i'm a FR guy, and someday i wanna own a Mazda 808 or a Ford Escort MK1, these 2 cars are in my list of most beatiful cars in the world

such old car dont bother to rapair engine lah.most already done big mileage so just use it until its totally kong then plonk in more powerful engine.i suggest u get a lantis.u might get 10 to 15 yrs old car but sitting inside feels its more modern than wira.its one of few cars designed ahead of its time.the only problem with this car is it's frameless windows bushings.but the solutions are there.u just need to be more resourceful.

My advise is, dont go for mazda. You will have hard time searching for spareparts for your vehicle. Same goes for 323 lantis

do you,did you own one?i had one lantis.converted to 2.0 v6 summore.its a damn good car.parts?it uses same oil filter as wira.knn airfilter available,no need to change.what else?not much.only 1 thing tho,i kept bursting the radiator.probably just because it's old and the plastic has gotten brittle.change to aluminum radiator, problem solved.

TS, forget the astina, just get the lantis.make sure get one with solid body.engine can change

edit:sorry, did'nt realize its an old thread
