it displays nvidia logo in the front because the games features nvidia exclusive stuff like TXAA and HBAO+. TXAA actually doubles my framerate on my desktop while keeping everything neat. So, I guess it works then...
I've tried various settings, at most I get ~38fps @720p, so I kicked everything up a notch to maintain ~32fps, I guess that's fine though I will miss the beauty of the game later.
at least GTX660M is actually bearable to game on, decent quality with decent framerate... I use it only to game while travelling...
this game is not CPU intensive IMO, just stupid thread scheduling... I've observed this both on my laptop and my desktop. My laptop and my desktop are both on i7-3770K and i7-3630QM, 4 cores 8 threads. I checked the load on each thread, this game actually use only 2 threads to run

thus making the single thread performance really important for this game. I do heard there's a way to make the game load everything on each threads available, but not sure how is the effect on the performance. If it really can boost another 10fps, I should try.
Same goes to my GPU. Doesn't hit 100% usage at all. Most of the time it is around 70%.
This game does demands high resources but not because they really need to use those resources, simply because they don't utilize those resources properly. I just wished they do better job at optimization, but the way they do it right now actually makes the game reachable by more people unlike COD:Ghost. at the lowest settings, this game should be able to run on older machine; but the highest graphics settings will be impossible without the latest tech.
i guess ubisoft is giving too much focus on the next gen and doesnt really thinking about optimize the game for the pc users..plus, game nowdays gonna be more graphic intensive because most of them gonna based on the next gen console..maybe i should just get the ps4 when it available in Malaysia, cheaper way to gaming than building gaming rig
