Share what i found on another forum. Seem this chap bought it as a set from "Sunshine Plaza" for SGD230. = RM540!
Not sure whats the "visual" difference between "baby compressor" & "mini compressor" yet, but the former seems to ber very noisy and the later silent. ![]() ![]() This post has been edited by ezCISS: Jul 18 2006, 11:15 PM |

as i expect, small compressor, but no tank.i'd prefer a bigger one with a 3 galon tank.but since ur space is limited, this might be the way to go.damn the airbrush is an iwata rip-off.get the iwata, trust me,u'll thank me later

Sure i'll heed your good advise.. For RM290 with tank is good price compared to that little fella. Do you know how "silent" it is ?

QUOTE(VincC454 @ Jul 20 2006, 03:32 PM) A few option.1. Air Compressor (like above) 2. Air Can (RM4X if not mistaken) - Single Use 3. Tamiya spray can (RM3X) - Single Use Per colour 3. Compress Air Tank - those huge missle looking tanks found at Aquarium shops It's all come down to cost/benefit that suits your needs. This post has been edited by ezCISS: Jul 20 2006, 04:14 PM |

Air Can = Single use = use until no more "oomph", b'coz cannot refill the gas in the can.
Of course you can use as many colours that you have in your inventory, just as long as the Air Can still has the "ommph" -Edit- Colour spray can = direct spray (airbrush not required) This post has been edited by ezCISS: Jul 20 2006, 04:23 PM |

Those are mini spray cans (compare to the ones that you see at the hardware shops). It's specifially designed for model kits. You just buy the required colour cans you need and spray away until it's finished. If not mistaken it's RM30 plus per can per colour
Most of the colors are gloss type. (i prefer matt) and you cant get the fine shading effects like a proper airbrush. This post has been edited by ezCISS: Jul 20 2006, 04:38 PM |

I called the number above. I guess you should try during office hours. I think their main focus are the industrial players rather then us small timers.
