Has anyone identified the source of the helicopter sound? I get a soft one once in a blue moon.
*
should be the hydraulic lifter sound. Once engine warm up usually it will gone. Alternatively, either the your engine is overdue for service (engine oil too dirty) or viscosity is incorrect will also cause this kinda of sound

I service the car before it is overdue. The last time it is heard is last week night, just after I have serviced my car and ran 1k km. Viscousity is right. SC using petronas 5w30. It is once in a blue moon. I thought drivers here has managed to identify it.

Last Saturday I removed Stiff Ring. I notice, the vibration when drove on the road near my house become very mild. Not like before where its very obvious. emmm... dunno maybe I was wrong.
*
Doesn't you think certain parts of the car suppose to be 'flexible' ? thats why there is rubber bushing / mounting invented to absorb all the vibration to give confirm....

i seriously wonder if in a car there isn't any 'rubber' anymore...and all the 'suppose' flexible gab...all replace by steel.... hmm.gif

weird. why different SC quote windscreen different price ? I check lastweek with they quoted me max not more than Rm2000

As mentioned its 15% of premium

Rm1000 = Rm150
Rm1500 = Rm225
Rm1800 = Rm275
Rm2000 = Rm300

I choose Rm300 since its always better to cover more than less.

Car was sum insured Rm78K for end of 2012 unit smile.gif

There are no marks. Nothing can come back to original phase. Almost 99% looks nice. it's a job well done. smile.gif

Is that the mark or reflection ?

For this price, even if there is the slightest of marks, I don't think anyone can complaint. If one is paying RM300 or more, then it's a different story. And all that is done within 3 hours..... Just my humble opinion la.

If touch up shouldn't be that expensive IMHO smile.gif

I'm looking for Nexen N8000 or Mic PS3, Nexen much more cheaper than PS3.

But feedback about Nexen is not so good.

I heard Toyo is better too.

In the end if wanted to go for better tyres then the budget should be around Rm2000.00

I only notice the noise when my friend commented about it.

It seems Forte soundproof is not as good as Toyota and Honda.
*
Toyo definitely better or the best rclxms.gif . Someone posted in fb group where C1S is around Rm405, and T1R is around RM415. Price from Klang

What's the best brand for tinting below rm500?
*
Nothing come cheap. Below RM500 tinting highly possible not long lasting or within a year or two will start bubbling OR the colour of the film will fading...not really cutting UV as it 'claim'

A decent one should be Rm700 and above...

Guys..I need help on my insurance renewal..

1) My car warranty is under 2 years by naza + 3 years by allianz...If I renew insurance not under allianz, is it void the car warranty??

2) My friend direct renewed insurace at Allianz insurance office and said he got 10% discount (+NCD) because not using an agent for renewal. Is this 10% discount reflected to all Insurance company??
*
1. Yes you need to stick back to Allianz within warranty period

2. This is loyalty program. Not share across all insurance company. E.g Maybank if you do online renewal you get 10%, Takakul if your follow year renew within any claim in previous year you get 15% discount

You sure about point 1? What I know is that you do not need to be insured with Allianz to be on warranty.
*
If you are not on 2 + 3 year program there is not need to stick to Allianz. Info from SC

Bcoz my hometown is far...
If drive slowly , I'll sleepy and more dangerous to me & others...
I hit divider once in 1998 when i follow 110km/h speed limit...
After that , no turning back...
*
This should not be excuse ma sifu...far mean , sleep more the night before to get more energy, else do more stop over to refresh yourself....

I always wonder 110km/h vs 190 km/h can shorter HOW much of your travel time ?? 50% ?

Sametime HOW many times dangerous have you increase to yourself , passenger and driver out there...

Just my 2 cents. 110km/h set there for a reason....else there is no need speed limit set wink.gif
