Cost cutting by Naza. Cheap thing no good thing. Good thing no cheap thing. That's the value you get
for Forte.
To be frank , a lot of minor issue .

I'm using 8GB SanDisk mini thumb drive.
About 3.19GB worth of songs (711 files, 61 folders), formatted to FAT32.

Folder structure = 3 Layer Structure = Main Folders -> Sub-Folders 1 -> Sub Folders 2 (E.g. - E:\ROCK\Coldplay\Coldplay Glastonbury 2011\Coldplay - Fix You.mp3

I believe that as long as you keep the subfolders sizes to a maximum of 4GB, the HU shouldn't have any problem reading it smile.gif
OCD? Yayy!! I got kaki smile.gif
What level of OCD?
I'm paranoid about cleanliness.
In fact, I'm still looking for a solution on how I could send my car for a tyre change (in the future) whilst keeping the car interior clean.
Why I mean here is that, I'm hoping that the tyre shop sifu/technician will clean himself before driving my car for a test on alignment, etc. hmm.gif
*
There are a few ways. Go at the first blink of light. Be the first customer. Either that or get those plastic seat, steering and gear knob cover. Wipe off all possible contact of their hands with wet tissue. I do wipe off after they test drove. I cannot be expecting them to take bath before entering my car, so that is the best that I can do.

With the Aircond on and gear knob at D, if I'm not mistaken the RPM is around 800.

I'll get 600 RPM if I switch off the Aircond.
*
Mine is at the same RPM. In D there is no vibration at all.

At N I have slight vibration at 600RPM.

Added Stiff Ring &  Cushion Buffers (front & back).

Cushion buffers : Less bumpy going through humps, significant difference using the same route i used to go before adding these.

Stiff ring : Noted no difference....too early, will update soon.

Your version of cushion buffer looked different from mine. R-bach?

Hi,
Just wan to check do i need to take off the white paper for the sticky part? It seem more difficult to put the foam in the dashboard if the foam is sticky...Thank you
*
I took off the white paper. I made it into 3 layers, sticking on to each other. For the first 2 layer, you stick sticky part to sticky part ma. Then with that you wont have sticky part exposed.

maybe the solution is add in cushion inside the seat, u try to push the front seat from the back.. The front seat is totally no cushion at the back, u can touch the steel. I wonder it is safe for kids who sit behind during emergency brake? Kids might hit his head at the seat.  Kindly update once SC fix it
*
Passengers at the back should put on seat belts. The extra cushion at the rear of the front seat will not save one from the impact.

i had the same problem oso just bought my forte 2.0 yesterday. Driving at 110 noticed i think engine vibration or something oso lol. Also the wind whistle on left side front door very noticeable. Anyone have same problem?
*
Check a few things first. Balancing, tyre pressure. I ran at 200km/h I don't feel excessive vibration. Maybe I haf stiff rings, cushion buffer, tower bar.

my forte is very silent... few times i forgot to turn off engine coz i tot its already off rclxub.gif .... tried max to 180km/h.... it feels like nothing happened.... its still so silent.... rmp around 6k at 180km/h.... haha
*
Silent as in engine silent yes. Wind noise will be very loud with stock car. Yours is a 1.6 right? The RPM is so much difference? Mine is running at abit above 4k at 200km/h.

At that time when I am at 200km/h, I am still using Atlantis V7. The tyre noise is no longer audible. All wind noise.

At that speed the tyre surface barely touch the road edi..max i berani was 160 after that car already floating like butterfly...
*
hmm.gif Really? Or our defination of 'floating' is very much different? I still can change lane to avoid a small piece of plactic (I presume) at 200km/h. Maybe also because of the URB, the stiff rings, the cushion buffer. I don't feel the float at 160km/h when I am still having stock car.

Anybody can explain does o/taking using lower gear  cause higher engine ram?? Is it more obvious for lower cc cars or higher cc cars don't have this? Afraid i might spoil the engine/gearbox by doing so frequently..sometimes need to test the pickup juga....
*
I only know why low gear will cause higher RPM. This is because in a car, one gear is fixed, one gear in change-able. The change-able is your gearbox's gear. The theory is like a bike with gears. When you start pedaling from stagnant, you need to go to the largest gear, ie gear 1, you need to pedal faster (higher engine combustion rate, higher RPM). Once you have achieved momentum, you slowly increase the gear ratio and ultimately gear 5 (smallest gear). At that stage you pedal less right, hence why lower gear has higher RPM. Staying on one low gear too long is unhealthy, proning to wear for that gear. Don't ask if it is not recommended run on highway too often because of constant use of highest gear.

Its normal when downshift makes the engine ram then..but when over taking in manual from 6gear >5 then > 4 to get the boost i will go to 3rd quickly then up again bcz sometimes just want to past the next vehicle faster...the engine sounds is noisy & stressed ..i wonder your 2.0 is the same??
*
This is what I observed. Normally when I pass cars by downshifting gear from 6th to 4th at 100km/h, the rpm will raise from 2100 RPM (or so) to maybe 2800 RPM. No strain. I don't feel the strain at least. Maybe the difference between 2.0 and 1.6.
