5V output is safe, no matter what A. But be wary that some powerbank actually output more than 5V in order to make it seemed like charging faster. Probably around 5.1V or 5.2V, now that would really hurts your phone.

@polarzbearz
This link ("[CLICK HERE TO VIEW THE FULL SIMPLIFIED GUIDE TO UNLOCK / ROOT YOUR DEVICE!]") in post 3 is broken.
And also inside the spoiler in C2.

I believe these are same links which leads to the rooting guide written by you.

Managed to fix my Swiftkey not downloading language problem. (if anyone is following)

Seems to be same as my Instagram where the directory is corrupted on the /sdcard/Android/<app> folder.

Gotta do a format on SD 1 of these days. Hmm...

Erm... I didn't read much on this but what I know is... Our battery is normally 3.7V but we're charging it with 5V. I believe 5.1/5.2 V is fine but bigger current is not good because current determines the power. Ya our phone has overcurrent protection but where is the extra current going?

Maybe I should find one day and study deep into this topic. Seems interesting biggrin.gif

thanks for sharing this thread.
I always saw my coursemate take out their battery to lengthen their battery life. Looks like they are doing in a wrong way.
