QUOTE(iceman31 @ Sep 19 2013, 09:52 PM) how fast? QUOTE(teckyang97 @ Sep 19 2013, 11:24 PM) I just wonder why that iOS 7 is so popular that almost everyone know it and very excited, but Android 4.3 or even 4.4 KitKat,very less people know and lesser people is excited Majority of IOS 7 changes are very obvious:- New UI (flat!) - New Lock screen - New transperant layer - Control center, notification, camera, etc It's worthy as another IOS, i mean, not like 6.1 or something but 7! Most obvious underlying changes is from 32-bit to 64-bit. Apple is not very forth-coming about other underlying changes. In fact, some benchmark indicating drop in performance (take with grain of salt): http://www.phonearena.com/news/iOS-6-vs-iO...ce-drop_id47575 Android 4.2 to 4.3 is more like the other way round. Also note that it's just a point update, not to 5.0 i did some performance comparison, 4.3 is more efficient and faster than 4.2... but... anyone care? QUOTE(tongaz86 @ Sep 20 2013, 12:00 AM) Most normal android user don't even care about updates. Heck even some don't know their Google account when they ask me to check their phone when got problem. sad... used to be the other way round..?Most off them just used the firmware out off the box and never updated it.Normal user usually don't care about this thing.Same case also with iPhone. It still running and do it's job is ok for them. Difference is iPhone push updates to their user while android like Samsung you need to accept the agreement on the setting before they push the updates. Normal user don't even dare to go there. Also i have to say iPhone user are much more tech savy then adroid user. This post has been edited by cowithgun: Sep 20 2013, 12:41 PM |

Guys, I'm on stock 4.3. I noticed something is off, whenever I had my locations turned on I would get normal battery life.
If I turned off locations in Settings, locations in Google Settings, Google Now turned off, my battery drains very fast. Any ideas? This post has been edited by Mike3300: Sep 20 2013, 05:14 PM |

How does the Nexus 4 fare against HTC Butterfly? I'm using Butterfly now, considering to jump ship to nexus 4 since I recently bought a Nexus 4 wireless orb to pair with my Nexus 7 FHD.
