during the invincible era, i personally think our offensive firepower flatters our defense qualities
no doubt toure,lauren, campbell are great, its just that we dictate the game play so awesome...that
when we dominate the game by 2-3 nil, it demotivates any opposition from fighting back
in away the defensive duties just got easier,

if we dont get suarez, which by each day is getting more likely, moving for cesc (if he wants to come back) wont be a bad move. there's not much in terms of classy forwards left except rooney who is still very unlikely to come, and if we dont get a forward then getting someone who would make a forward look classy would be a great alternative. adebayor and chamakh played better when they had cesc supplying them, and i rate giroud better than both
