My worry is at our homeground result than away. They'll probably come n play negative football tactics n play opposite at their hometurf.
And being 1st league at ours, other than to avoid defeat, we must avoid draw with goals. Away goals for them will make them stronger at their homeground. They could park d bus n hit us on counter attacks n guard their away goals advantage.
I'd prefer PSV as our opponent. They play good positive football n hv good technical ability. Its might suit our game style.

Hence why I mentioned we should becareful in Turkey. A score draw will be a good result and a win would be a fantastic one. Need to try and avoid a goalless draw and a defeat in Turkey.

Later just 1 signing (Sanogo) + 8 promoted from reserves (Gnabry, Olsson, Eisfeld, Bellerin, Akpom, Miyaichi, Afobe, Yennaris) + Diaby when he returns (Like a new signing thumbup.gif ) lol

To be honest if this continues. Man Utd and Arsenal will be fighting for 4th place while Spurs will go ahead of us. With their new signings, and their existing players they can even go for 2nd place. Of course first will be Chelsea.

I dont see how other teams can beat Chelsea now. Arsenal really need to spend on some experienced player like Gundogan's price. We can afford to buy 2-3 players of this quality with the budget we are given.

Well, bye-bye Suarez from Wenger?

QUOTE
Speaking at a press conference in Helsinki, he said: "There is nothing to add to what I said already about the transfer of Suarez.

"If it will be done, it will be done in a respectful and amicable way with Liverpool.

"I didn't read (Henry's) statements but we'll be faithful to the way we want to behave.

"To make a transfer happen, you need the agreement of three parties - the buyer, the seller and the player.

"We know what we want to do. The player, if I look at the statements, (does) as well. Liverpool at the moment do not agree. If they change their minds or not, I don't know. We'll respect that.

"We are looking at possibilities to strengthen our squad. Suarez is one of the targets. If he's not for sale, he's not for sale, we have to accept that.

"Every club has its own way of dealing with things, we have our way and we respect all the other clubs."

Sorry you guys unable to sign Suarez. Wenger should have gone for Higuain in the first place.

tarnsfer window still open..and anyway, AW did say there are other strikers that could make the transfer to the Emirates if we fail to get Suarez..dunno why Liverpool still resisting the sale of Suarez to us, since he has been forced to train with the reserves, so that bridge has been burnt. Maybe Liverpool also trying to sabo Bale's move to RM, so RM will buy Suarez instead of us

Ignasi Miquel joins Leicester on loan?

"It’s been confirmed that Ignasi Miquel has joined Leicester City on loan, making him the 10th first team player to have left the club this summer."

iinm hes the only youth player that's ever plays in the first team last season as cb . so with him gone sagna most likely to get the 4th cb job since no other youth came close to the first team. I don't think Ashley would come and most possibly be the 4th choice cb (if the transfer rumours were true)

Or I'm completely wrong . as I write this suddenly remember about arsenal cb youth (vaguely remember the newspaper story, it may be some other clubs youth player , maaf zahir batin dan selamat hari raya if I'm mistaken) that's impressive in some tournament. Maybe he get the job?

apa aku tulis ni cadangan ke soalan ? Huhu back to my rendang lah

I guess they felt threatened selling their best player to another premier league club especially of Arsenal's caliber. So they don't want to strengthened their rival and weakened their squad. I also thought they are trying to follow what Man City did to Tevez en route to winning the premier league.

Prediction:

Arsenal 1 - M.City 3

I don't see how Arsenal players can overcome top players like Yaya Toure, Dzeko, Navas & Aguero.

If Liverpool is unwilling to sell Suarez, then lets buy Rooney for £40m. Manu will rather sell Rooney to us than to Chelsea.

with Miquel being the 10th player to leave the club, this has got to be the sign of AW's desire to get new faces in. summer clear out, overhaul of the first team.

dunno if this got in their loan contract, but sometimes parent clubs have the right to recall loan out players if there is an injury crisis. Anyway, loaning out some fringe is good for the future of the club, give them some playing time experience

Yeah pity us, right.
Wenger should just buy Higuain, Jovetic, Lewandowski, Falcao, Cavani, Soldado, Negredo,
and at the same time keep Chamakh, Gervinho, Arshavin, RVP, Henry, Adebayor, Kanu, Bergkamp, Reyes, Anelka in the first place.
He's so cheap. Wenger OUTTTT!!!
