If we play to our potential we should have no problem against Fenerbahce. Confident we will smash them at home but we have to be extra careful in Turkey.
Arsenal Street Talk, ARS 1-3 AVL-another 5 signing in 50 hrs?

hmm, I thought Fenerbahce were banned from any European competition from 2 years, no? anyways, it'll be a tricky test for us but I'm pretty confident we'll go through.

The verdict of whether they are banned or not only comes out something like one day after the second leg. Either way we have to win the tie to be sure. |

^^ Yup exactly. If we can't beat them, we don't deserve to be in the UCL. Easy.
On other news.. Capoue to Spurs is apparently a done deal. If they can keep Bale (unlikely), they could be a serious challenger for the top 4 next season. |

Nope.
The title is just between us and Chelsea. MC, MU and Spurs will fight for the 3rd and 4th place. (My very bias opinion |

QUOTE(genexern @ Aug 9 2013, 09:44 PM) What? Sanogo is quality!QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Aug 9 2013, 09:54 PM) No bro. Spurs will battle it out with loverpool for the title . With Suarez and bale remaining at the kelab yo Yup. The trio of Downing+Henderson+Aspas could be lethal. |

QUOTE(DWExia @ Aug 9 2013, 02:17 PM) My exact sentiments. Us Gooners are so used to no signings that even if we don't sign anyone this season. disappointed yes but I wouldn't be flipping tables. If we look at the squad numbers in total, yes..we r thinner. but i believe those we offloaded doesnt or had less contribution last season. Its d same players that we used last season most for this season. So its not actually thinner..better those spot empty than paying for those who doesnt contribute.Of course if we do get Suarez it will be a major boost to the team for the title. But signing 1 striker simply would not be enough, we did offload quite alot of players hence our squad is much thinner than before. Whatever happened to the Ashley Williams and Fellaini rumours QUOTE(sigheart @ Aug 9 2013, 08:29 PM) If we play to our potential we should have no problem against Fenerbahce. Confident we will smash them at home but we have to be extra careful in Turkey. My worry is at our homeground result than away. They'll probably come n play negative football tactics n play opposite at their hometurf. And being 1st league at ours, other than to avoid defeat, we must avoid draw with goals. Away goals for them will make them stronger at their homeground. They could park d bus n hit us on counter attacks n guard their away goals advantage. I'd prefer PSV as our opponent. They play good positive football n hv good technical ability. Its might suit our game style. QUOTE(raizo7 @ Aug 9 2013, 09:34 PM) ^^ Yup exactly. If we can't beat them, we don't deserve to be in the UCL. Easy. Spurs r actually already a serious challanger for top 4 since last 2 seasons. On other news.. Capoue to Spurs is apparently a done deal. If they can keep Bale (unlikely), they could be a serious challenger for the top 4 next season. QUOTE(tkh_1001 @ Aug 9 2013, 09:37 PM) I dont think so.. This season eventho no.more SAF, MU r still d same squad. MC with some additions n new mgr might need some games b4 they can be consider back to title challange. But Chelsea with Mour r definitely the strongest pick among those 3. I'd dare to say they r back to challenging the title. As for us, i'd consider as outside team to challenge to title as our current addition r only Sonogo. But as top 4 challenger..yes..we r definitely. Spurs..they arent yet there even with those signing. But perhaps they r just better preparation to challenge top 4 n look stronger n capable than us. But its 38games league..every match count so this might b more interesting race to see. This post has been edited by HiperPanda: Aug 10 2013, 01:03 AM |

Ignasi Miquel joins Leicester on loan?
"It’s been confirmed that Ignasi Miquel has joined Leicester City on loan, making him the 10th first team player to have left the club this summer." |

^ Good for him n the team. 1step closer to be part of main CB. If he succeed there, he'll be good backup next season n challenging starting place next.
But also it should force AW to recruit another CB as we r too short backup CB available. |
