dear mod, just my experience or what, you see, when seaching for used item or tools in the Garage sales, it's difficult to click into each and every one related only to find out that COD location is out of reach, especially for those really heavy stuff like monitor and so on.

My suggestion is that, these sellers, trader or so, must state their COD location in their topic description, if they only prefer COD method, thnx

It is fine not to state COD location in topic title I guess.

Firstly, search what you want.
Secondly, if you're interested, take a look in the thread and see where it is possible to COD.

Thread title is only good for the [WTS] tag, name of product and to a certain extent, price smile.gif

most people use broadband nowadays,i dont find it hard to just click the thread,and just search for the COD place straight away...
even if your using dial up,all you have to do is click and look for the COD location-if you cant go there,then dont have to buy anything tongue.gif
i dont think you would waste 10 minutes just looking for the cod location,would you? sweat.gif

Do u really get that many results when searching for an item?
I mean, if you search for something in specific you'll most likely get only a few results
Checking the locations from those few isnt really a hard thing

Cash = Money
On = On
Delivery = Delivery sweat.gif

My personal definition of COD is the buyer and seller meeting up, buyer passes seller money, seller passes buyer the stuff, buyer checks the item, deal finished. smile.gif

To me, COD and Self Pickup is the same thing

You meet the buyer at the place stated, check and test the item, and pay him if you are satisfied

That's Bank In - POST where you bank in full amount and seller will post the item to you

That's Deposit - COD where you deposit a small amount to reserve the item and pay the full amount when you meet up and receive the item.

viking - slsl wasn't asking about deposit leh. biggrin.gif

i believe he was asking about PAY-IN-FULL then only arrange for a pick-up. IMO that is the most dangerous way to deal.

you pay in full, you come pick up that time i rob you some more haha.

IMO paying in deposit is better, to show sincerity in buying. and please don't do stupid stuff like depositing a few hundred RM cos RM 50 alone is more than enough to show sincerity of purchase.

Self pick up = Pay full amount or deposit some money when come over to seller place to pick-up the item then pay the rest of the amount.

C.O.D. = Meet up with the seller, check the item then pay the amount on the spot.
